Can’t get past initial setup

The ‘Disclaimer’ page just times out when you press Continue, after about 30 seconds it just says ‘Failed to save your data, please try again’.

iOS 26.6.1

Response from developer

Hi there, Thanks for flagging this setup issue on the disclaimer page. That definitely isn't the experience we want for our users. We'd be happy to look into this for you, so could you please send a quick note to info@processedapp.com? All the best, The Support Team

Response from developer

Hi Vish, That's so great to hear. It means a lot to us that the app is a regular part of your day. All the best, The Support Team

Not sure I trust this app

A supplement I scanned a while back was showing as minimally processed. After updating the app, it is now ultra processed. The ingredients have not changed. Some scans require scan of barcode and then the ingredients (which was the case for this one). For this particular supplement, it noted the items that made it ultra processed. For another brand where I only had to scan the bar code (didn’t have to scan ingredients) it said these same ingredients were not a problem. It actually listed those ingredients in the notes after the scan, too. I will attach 2 app captures if I’m able.

Response from developer

Hi there, Thanks for sharing this with us. Our database is constantly evolving, so a product's classification can occasionally be updated as we refine our data. The inconsistency you noticed between the two supplements is certainly something we'd want to examine. If you could send the details and any screenshots you have to info@processedapp.com, our team can take a closer look. All the best, The Support Team

FAQ

What does the Processed app do?

The app acts as an AI-powered food scanner and diary to help users identify and reduce their intake of ultra-processed foods. It analyzes food items by scanning barcodes or taking photos of meals, classifying them according to the NOVA system.

How does the app classify food processing levels?

It uses advanced AI analysis and the NOVA classification system to categorize foods as ultra-processed, processed, minimally processed, or whole food. This provides users with instant clarity on what they are consuming.

Is the app free to use?

The app is free to download and use, with additional features or content potentially available through in-app purchases. Specific details on pricing for any premium features are not provided in the description.

What kind of information does the food diary track?

The food diary allows users to track their daily ultra-processed food intake, monitor trends over time, and set reduction goals. It focuses on progress and intentional eating habits rather than calorie counting.

Can I use the app without a barcode?

Yes, you can take a photo of your meal, and the app will analyze its ingredients and processing level. This analyzed information can then be added directly to your food diary.
