Anyone associated with the business should be ashamed, purposely ruining the lives of young people across the world who need to take standardized exams in order to pursue a higher education. Wasted over 3 weeks of time and studying just to be unable to take the exam due to glitchy software on THEIR end, then almost forced to pay $150 just to get a new ticket (I kept the old one and rescheduled the exam instead for just $10, like thats better). Get this off the app store now.

Unreasonable Set up.
On the 2 exams I took on here. It has taken over 1.5 hours just to start the exam even though I did not move anything after it was approved by other proctors on Proctortrack. I understand we try to keep honesty during every exam but having 2 cameras is more than enough. I was asked to do ridiculous things that just delayed the start of the exam.

Just go in person
The lack of effeciency, care, and help this company provides to its customers is baffling. While customer service responds, it's almost as if they do not read what you are saying before hand and just give you the typical response or blanket response for your issue. I've completed the onboarding process 12 TIMES. The last 6 have been rejected my name in my ID is not legible, I've trouble shouted in every single way possible in order to fix the issue, I emailed support explaining that, and they told me to TROUBLESHOOT, what do you think I have been doing for the past two days?? So disappointing, and such a disregard for the time, energy, and money of their customers. My advice would be to veer away from this site at all costs, save yourself the hassle. On paper it seems like this option would be easier, but if you have the opportunity and in person proctoring somewhere near you, choose that option, and save yourself the stress.

Completing the test itself was quite easy now I don't know if they will approve it or not but so far it's been smooth
Why?!? This is Tedious!!!
Over an hour to start and I still was frustrated the whole time. Only using it because I need to CLEP a course but absolutely the worst experience Iāve had with a proctor service. Do better. Also requiring us to have a second desk for our phones as a second camera is absurd.
SUCKS
genuinely worst educational software to every exist, the app is buggy, it randomly shuts off, and it restricts the student far past cheating to the point where it affects the student academically. If i could give this 0 stars, I would

Terrible software on test day, awful live chat with my proctor who copy pasted the same prompts when running into problems, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS, take your test in person and if you canāt donāt bother with this at all
Actually the most horrid, difficult to use piece of garbage ever
Honorlock works fine but proctor track decided to make it terrible. The onboarding process is a nightmare, and they donāt offer alternatives! Most long winded ridiculous way to proctor, two cameras for a Spanish test. I SPEAK SPANISH I JUST NEED THIS REQUIREMENT AND YOUR SERVICE IS QUITE LITERALLY delaying me. Garbage just utter garbage if you see this review take the test in person.

Do NOT USE DO NOT PAY
Itās incredibly difficult to get approved. Make sure you read the refund policy first before paying. And before paying make sure you have every system requirement, and make sure your camera can focus in of the date on your drivers license. Or you will lose your money.
Waste of time
Genuinely one of the stupidest ideas for a remote proctoring experience Iāve ever seen. They make you go to your testing room during the identity verification process. If you live in a home with any sort of wall decor they deny it. They want a 360 pan of your entire room. This is just not acceptable for people who live in a normal house. The registration and identity verification process was so arduous and took over an hour and I didnāt even complete it all the way before realizing this was a total complete waste of money and time. So remarkably egregious, itās actually hilarious
I have never once had a bad experience with Collegeboard; every test Iāve taken with them in person and every phone call Iāve made for help has been nothing short of phenomenal.
What absolutely shocks me is the fact that an amazing company such as them would dive to such low efforts to contract out this outlandishly bad service for remote proctoring. My experience with Proctortrack has been an exact 180 from experience with Collegeboard itself.
For one, I scheduled a test on Feb. 14th, couldnāt even begin my test for about 30 minutes since I needed my entire room to be scanned 4 different times due to things that werenāt allowed near me such as a water bottle and my mousepad and other misc things. You then have to position your phone for recording you in a spot your proctor deems worthy, which I had to position another 3-4 times. After this first headache was over, it was time for the test. Before I even clicked start, Proctortrack say I wasnāt able to start the exam due to security reasons and theyāll send an email to me in 3 business days (which they still never sent). Proctor said āI donāt know what happened, try relaunching the software againā. So I did. I couldnāt re-login to the test again after relaunch because it said I already took it (not true).
Proctor said āI canāt help you with this, reach out to CollegeBoard. Have a good dayā.
I reached out to Collegeboard and explained the whole situation to them and they reinstated my ticket free of charge, without any issues.
I scheduled to take the test AGAIN 10 days after first schedule (Feb. 24th), and not only did it take me over an hour to get the test setup due to the Proctortrack app closing down, and having to deal with their customer service to get a new proctor after the first one decided to leave after their app crashed, but I couldnāt take the test AGAIN due to unknown security reasons that they would not tell me or even email me about.
I ran multiple equipment checks within the Proctortrack application to verify my system worked (which it did), I shutdown every single external task going on through task manager, I turned off all notifications on my computer, I put it into DND, I physically removed anything plugged into my computer such as my mouse chip and other usb devices and only left the power cable as to not trigger suspicion (in case thatās what triggered it last time I donāt know), and yet the same exact notification came up saying that I couldnāt continue due to security reasons.
Thereās already a proctor watching my every move on my computer screen and 2 different cameras they had me setup looking at me forming a near 360Ā° rotation. I can understand the intent behind the procedures, but at what point do you think to yourself, āhmmm, maybe our software shouldnāt be so ridiculously over the top on anti-cheating measures to the point itās detecting false positives and causing these ambitiously driven students to wait even more time to test and secure their future!?ā. Iām in a rush, my degree was supposed to be done 2 weeks ago, and now itās delayed because we have a company thatās so over the top on security, itās forgotten that people actually have a test to take. If you have the option to test in person, do that. Itās worth the headache and whatever costs come with it, just trust. Thatās my rant, sorry, but if youāre reading all this and got this far just know if I could give this zero stars I would. Would never recommend this to somebody ever.

IF A COURSE REQUIRES THIS APP RUN!!!!!
People are talking about how long everything takes and blah blah blah WHICH IS TRUE BUT I HAVE HAD SO MANY ISSUES WITH THIS APP. FIRST THE APP WOULD JUST FREEZE COULDNT EVEN GET IN AND WHEN I CONTACTED SUPPORT THEY DID NOTHING BECAUSE ITS A STUPID AI CHAT BOT AND I HAD SO MANY ISSUES WITH THE ORIENTATION TEST AFTER I HAD TO USE A DIFFRENT LAPTOP AND GUESS WHAT HAPPENED NEXT IT KEPT FREEZING AND JUST NOT WORKING AT ALL. AND WHAT THEY DONT TELL YOU IS THAT IT COST $6 TO TAKE A TEST THAT I DONT EVEN WANT TO TAKE. AFTER ALL OF MY TROUBLE LIKE IF YOURE BEING FORCED TO PAY AT LEAST MAKE SURE YOU APP WORKS! whoever owns this app or company you might as well just hit the delete button that will do more good than your app ever could.

Unbearable
The barrier is unrealistic to overcome. Iāve successfully utilized other online proctoring services and I am proficient with IT requirements in general but this app deserves the low ratings. Now I have to travel to a test center, which ultimately costs more money to the school and CLEP to satisfy. Makes no business sense.

Worst app ever
Whatās the point of having an online monitoring program if you arenāt even going to monitor it. I have tried to do an exam 5 different times and Iāve waited hours just for no one to even check the scan for my room. Customer service is even worse. If I could give it worse I would. Donāt even bother take it in person if possible

Useless App
Two years ago, I did all the scans with my webcam on my PC. Now you need access to my phone just so I can take a 90 minute exam? This is stupid and useless. Will be deleting soon as I finish the exam.
app or virus?
need this for two of my courses and i literally might as well take them in person. this app is horrible and is tome consuming to actually use. needed to get my student id for vertification. when i finished all the steps including scanning my room, my desk, my set up, and behind my laptop, i had to take the test. but the test has an access code and i cant cntl+v it. theres a button to copy it but it never goes to my clipboard. restarted my pc and the set up process four more times and nothing works. also theres a pop up that tells u that ur test doesnt get turned in after u click log out but when u click it there isnt a button to reverse this process. just a simple āi understandā so if u accidentally click it, have fun redoing the whole process again. also had to download the app on my phone and the whole process makes me feel like im downloading a virus to scan everything. theres literally no point of this. if its going to be so complicated just hand me a paper test.

Mandar is the worst
honestly just fire that guy. he shows up 30 mins late to my exam. i had to call customer service just to get him to show up to be my proctor. he then proceeded to waste my time 2-3hrs before i could start my exam
Ridiculous and Long
Soooo many extra steps for no reason. It took over an hour to get everything set up, especially the time spent sitting there waiting for the proctor to approve of my secondary camera. Itās a waste of time. Like I get needing to ensure no one is cheating, but the old setup of using just the computer camera is so much better. So many extra steps and āsolutionsā like āThe camera cannot be on the same desk. Pull up a second desk.ā Wow thank you, let me make another desk appear out of thin air in my shared dorm room. So frustrating and time wasting.

Iāve never even written a review before but this is genuinely the worst program Iāve used in my entire life. Way too many steps. Program crashes. Support doesnāt help. Only on windows. Took me over an hour to just get through the pre test options and then I couldnāt even take the test. CLEP use literally anything else.

Took me 2 hours to set my exam up and my proctor name was Talat who decided to void my test because he saw my phone at a chair across the room!
