A poor attempt to catch cheaters
This adds yet another barrier for possible students who want to get an education, while schools try to wipe the responsibility of managing multiple students at once by, once again, taking the easy way out of working harder to take care of your students.

Waste of time
Proctortrack claims onboarding will take 4-8 hours. It has been over 24 hours and I still haven’t received any updates. It’s clear proctortrack is a joke. I recommend that you save yourself the time and do the exam at a local testing center.
Very bad application to use.
This application can be extremely frustrating at the start. But the issues I have with it are giving your personal ID and such over to this entity. This should be updated and extremely easier and simple to use. In no world should I have to give my personal ID to an application like this.
Horrible to deal with
Nothing about it is seamless, app lagging, so many steps, there are much better proctoring applications and this is the worst I’ve ever dealt with
Don’t do it
Complete and utter waste of time, ended up troubleshooting with the proctored for 2 HOURS before being told I would have to take it another day because of problems on THEIR end. If you think you will save time by doing it at home save yourself some time and just go in person. All of the proctors are foreigners that don’t even speak English well and you are virtually downloading a virus on your computer with Proctortrack as they can override and access your mouse at times. Also basically told me to move my phone 6 different ways and said it was fine until it wasn’t almost as if they were messing with me. Proctortrack is a total joke.

Awful quality and painfully tedious, technically gets the job done for those giving the exam but at too high a cost for those taking it

The whole design and manufacture of the service is extremely over complicated and takes way to long to complete.

Anyone associated with the business should be ashamed, purposely ruining the lives of young people across the world who need to take standardized exams in order to pursue a higher education. Wasted over 3 weeks of time and studying just to be unable to take the exam due to glitchy software on THEIR end, then almost forced to pay $150 just to get a new ticket (I kept the old one and rescheduled the exam instead for just $10, like thats better). Get this off the app store now.

Unreasonable Set up.
On the 2 exams I took on here. It has taken over 1.5 hours just to start the exam even though I did not move anything after it was approved by other proctors on Proctortrack. I understand we try to keep honesty during every exam but having 2 cameras is more than enough. I was asked to do ridiculous things that just delayed the start of the exam.

Just go in person
The lack of effeciency, care, and help this company provides to its customers is baffling. While customer service responds, it's almost as if they do not read what you are saying before hand and just give you the typical response or blanket response for your issue. I've completed the onboarding process 12 TIMES. The last 6 have been rejected my name in my ID is not legible, I've trouble shouted in every single way possible in order to fix the issue, I emailed support explaining that, and they told me to TROUBLESHOOT, what do you think I have been doing for the past two days?? So disappointing, and such a disregard for the time, energy, and money of their customers. My advice would be to veer away from this site at all costs, save yourself the hassle. On paper it seems like this option would be easier, but if you have the opportunity and in person proctoring somewhere near you, choose that option, and save yourself the stress.

Completing the test itself was quite easy now I don't know if they will approve it or not but so far it's been smooth

Over an hour to start and I still was frustrated the whole time. Only using it because I need to CLEP a course but absolutely the worst experience I’ve had with a proctor service. Do better. Also requiring us to have a second desk for our phones as a second camera is absurd.
Worst App I’ve Ever Used
This is easily the worst app I’ve ever tried to use. The set up is needlessly confusing and requires tons of steps with no explanation while bouncing you around to the same screen multiple times.

Horrible Spyware Shouldn’t be allowed
Why are we allowing school to install spyware that makes exams harder to write? A good professor should be able to make exams that properly assess students without this

Terrible software on test day, awful live chat with my proctor who copy pasted the same prompts when running into problems, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS, take your test in person and if you can’t don’t bother with this at all
Actually the most horrid, difficult to use piece of garbage ever
Honorlock works fine but proctor track decided to make it terrible. The onboarding process is a nightmare, and they don’t offer alternatives! Most long winded ridiculous way to proctor, two cameras for a Spanish test. I SPEAK SPANISH I JUST NEED THIS REQUIREMENT AND YOUR SERVICE IS QUITE LITERALLY delaying me. Garbage just utter garbage if you see this review take the test in person.

Do NOT USE DO NOT PAY
It’s incredibly difficult to get approved. Make sure you read the refund policy first before paying. And before paying make sure you have every system requirement, and make sure your camera can focus in of the date on your drivers license. Or you will lose your money.
Waste of time
Genuinely one of the stupidest ideas for a remote proctoring experience I’ve ever seen. They make you go to your testing room during the identity verification process. If you live in a home with any sort of wall decor they deny it. They want a 360 pan of your entire room. This is just not acceptable for people who live in a normal house. The registration and identity verification process was so arduous and took over an hour and I didn’t even complete it all the way before realizing this was a total complete waste of money and time. This is so not acceptable
