Stops working and tech support is slow
This program was great until it stopped loading. Tech support took many days to fix the problem and then it stopped working the next month upon renewal. I have paid this subscription for several months without being able to use it.
Creating an Account
Horrible. Actually horrible, because tell me why I’m trying to create my account so I can get my script and work on it but every time I try to get in and use the email that my script is on it doesn’t let me in. It says error creating an account. It shouldn’t be this difficult my Wi-Fi’s at full bars and I’ve been trying for the past three hours to get in, but it won’t let me in.

Scripts in my students hands, immediate access to the rehearsal tracks I upload for them, what’s not to love? Now, if only the school WIFI was reliable...
Game changer!
Our community theater company has used ProductionPro on several productions. The app is easy to use, and the convenience of having the script anywhere and anytime you have access to an electronic device is awesome. In its simplest form, it acts like a digital book and notetaking app, and it’s more advanced features lets you share notes and media with your cast and crew. Would recommend to any theater group.

Great when it works
Love this when it works. Lots of flexibility to make notes in the script, to highlight and more. But it crashes often on the iPad - a current one running current iOS. It will then lock you out with a “Problem processing email” message and tell you to try again later. Happens to several of us in our current show and the crashes come without warning. Very very inconvenient during rehearsals. In short it’s just not reliable enough to rely on. Too bad.

Glitching issues
The concept of this app is amazing. The problem I continually had was the app kept shutting down. This would not stop happening during use. The app would only stay open for 3-7 minutes at a time making it impossible to get anywhere with blocking as a director. What should have been an app that saved me time, doubled my work and tripled my frustration level. Company never responded to my questions about this issue. App and web browsers kept shutting down during use for reading during rehearsal.

Amazing in so many ways
My team and I used this app and companion desktop. It helped us stay organized as we worked separately before our show. Then when we do have meetings we can all talk on the same page. The scene breakdown is incredibly useful and the fact that it tracks in the scene break down (landscape) to switching to script mode (portrait) is very easy to not only see what is happening design wise but skip through the show and track characters. All in all amazing app. And bonus my team all says it is fun to use.

Worthless for a choreographer
Wish I could give it zero stars. I’m a freelance choreographer, and work school to school. I can’t access anything on this program and have it saved without Wi-Fi (which many places will not give to contract employees) so this program pretty much becomes worthless from the get go. And of course, I can’t just download the score like every other show I’ve ever worked on that has chosen not to use this terrible program.

A resource for set designers.
Today I went into a scenic shop and held my first ever kick off meeting as the SET DESIGNER using ProductionPro!!! It felt good, REALLY good!!!
I had my show/production fully loaded onto ProductionPro via my iPad. It’s organizational structure made finding my assets super easy and made me look (and feel) like a star! It helped me visually show the sequencing of our production while giving me quick access to all my scenic research, my drafting, the lighting designers plots, director’s notes and photos of a prop piano. It included a verbal WOW when I “flipped to the script”.
I’m very excited to continue using ProductionPro as a tool for my evolving set design career. It’s a great resource!!

TERRIBLE app
Half the time, anything done while not connected to wifi is lost. Today, EVERYTHING disappeared. Now gonna spend the next few hours watching videos and writing blocking notes again. AND DEFINITELY NOT IN PRODUCTION PRO.

The new web app is exceptional for organizing research, concept drawings, etc. within the context of the story. An easy, visual way to get pre-production & production started!

What this is supposed to do or how to “make it go”. Apparently it’s associated with several expensive services I’ve ever head of. Beyond that, the no help, no tutorial, and I can’t figure it out.
