Sadly, though progressive radio is nothing more than a storehouse of commercials after commercials after commercials. they will do as many as a dozen commercials in a row before you actually hear maybe two or three minutes of actual Content, and then the commercials continue. I sadly believe this once progressive Station has literally been taken over by the enemy. There are many ways to hear the truth especially of heroes like Stephanie Miller and Randi Rhodes. Works great for free app
I love it the more than the tune in app. Tune in has useless commercials for stuff I don’t have a good paying job or skills to pay for it. This app doesn’t have the advertising garbage every time you open it. The Tom Hartman show does have commercials but that’s for his show not the app is doing it.

it worked in MN but not in MA
not sure if something happened in between my move from MN to MA last year but now it’s useless and annoying and I don’t get it, especially in an election year. I would pay for ad free if offered.
Great content/mediocre app
Like many say, I love the content. It’s just too bad it’s a crapshoot every time I open the app whether I’ll get to listen to actual content or an endless stream of ads. Sometimes it will even go to ads in the middle of a program and never return to the show. I wish the developers would respond to these reviews and fix the problem. I’m on iOS, fwiw.

Great content, when it works
Love the content of the app. I wake up to listen to Stephanie Miller. But we’ll over 50% of the time I get an unending string of PSAs and ads. It’s worse than unreliable, it’s toxically annoying. And unfortunately it lives up to the stereotype of liberal media. The right wing stuff is ubiquitous and mostly on reliably functional platforms. Please fix it!!!

Great content;frustrating app!
Terrific content, when I can get to it. More than 50% of the time all I can get is an endless stream of ads. When I can actually get to the programming ihe app is very stable, even in the background. Please, developers, I beg you. Fix this mess of a vital app!
Doesn’t work anymore
I used to listen all the time but now, for some reason, the stations/shows aren’t there anymore. I don’t know if it’s a satellite issue or something else, but I don’t get anything but non-stop commercials and ads, NO CONTENT. It’s been going on for weeks. Can’t listen to Stephanie Miller, Thom Hartman, anyone. Time of day doesn’t matter, this app no longer works. I even deleted it and downloaded again. NOPE! Very disappointing.

Want to listen to a full hour of commercials?
Than this is the app for you. While randi Rhodes is playing live on you tube or free speech tv this app plays nothing but commercials. Sure it works on occasion but it’s always a crap shoot. Seems as it was bought out by tune in radio or some such business and they’ve really messed it up.
Stability Issues
I listen to PV most of the day. I love the line up. However, once in a while I lose it and have to delete the app and reinstall it for it work again. Not the biggest deal in world but it can be a bit annoying. Other than that, it is a great Progressive channel. Keep worrying on it!
Doesn’t work
App constantly crashes on iPhone. The developers need to pull this app and rework it-totally useless.
Feedback
I want to hear Progressive Voices. Many times they play 2 programs at once so you hear one in the background. So annoying I have to turn it off. What’s up with that?
Even Better Than Air America
Before Air America went under, I wanted an all-access subscription, but I couldn’t afford it, now I feel lucky. This app is nearly flawless & I appreciate that it’s easy to see since I’m legally blind. Thank you Progressive Voices!
Second update
It’s not working at all again.
Bummed
This app used to be the only app I relied on while driving. It no longer works with Bluetooth. It only works with wifi. I can’t use it anymore. I try accessing PV via the website and that doesn’t work anymore either.
Fix!!!!

The Progressive Voices app has worked reasonably well, or at least well enough, until recently. Now, it doesn’t work, period.
Two generations (i.e. a week or so) ago, I could at least get it to play, though the moment my phone went to sleep or I left the app, it’d stop. After the latest update, it won’t play at all. These seem like pretty basic functions that should have been tested and addressed before release.
I’ll keep watching for an update that fixes the app, but in the meantime, you’ve lost me. Not because I don’t like the app, but because it completely doesn’t work.

Destroying the progressive movement
The inability of the PV app to operate properly is a boon to Trump and his allies. This lack of competence so close to the election is purposeful! The sabotaging of progressive communication is obviously the goal of this app!
