The Worst App
The app is terrible. The inbox icon tells you there is a new email. When you go into the inbox, it doesn’t show it. You have to log out and log back in to get it to update. The process to attach a file is odd. You don’t do it from within the app, you go to the file, right click and select open with, then select Protected Trust. I hope my employer chooses another secure message service because this is terrible to deal with.

Pretty good app. I use this for personal and business use. A nice feature for the mobile version is being able to see if the messages were read.

Great work!
So secure I can't get into my own account!
I was required by work to start using this email encryption service to ensure patient confidentiality. I have had nothing but trouble with it from day one! I created a password, which only works approximately 50% of the time. When it decides not to work, it will give me the message, "Oops! Wrong password!" If I keep trying, it will lock me out of my account for 12 hours, at which point I will have to do a very frustrating and time-consuming song and dance to reset my password and get my emails. I have used several other email encryption services which have been far less exasperating.

Usually great, recently flawed
I've noticed the app no longer opens PDF or word files. All I get now is a black screen. I can't say for certain, but it seems to be a problem since the iOS upgrade.

Our company has been using Protected Trust for two years now and it's been great. Great app for sending and viewing encrypted email and great customer support.
Exceptional
This app has allowed me to communicate in new ways with existing contacts in a secure and safe fashion. Hundred times better than S/mine and way more flexible than PGP.
Simple. Effective
If you're looking for a mobile secure email solution this is the one. Very simple interface, highly secure, and integrates with their desktop and web-based applications. Highly recommended!
