Horrible App
I hate that I can’t mass select emails for deletion and folders imported from Gmail don’t work as folders so you can’t move emails to them. You have to create more folders to move new emails. This should have been a free 7 day trial. I ended up paying for a full year and it sucks!! I deleted it in 2 days. Disconnected gmail from it and will keep Gmail while they get to keep a full year of service money for nothing. I cancelled the subscription through Apple too but still out quite a bit of money!

The Gold standard for an email app
Proton has been aggressively upgrading and enhancing the UX over the years. It’s seamless and secure like no other app!
App works well with some features still missing
Wish the app had a Snooze option for mail.
Great so far, 1 thing I don’t get
Mail feels safe, I was able to organize it to my specs quickly, and No Spam. Hide My Email works well, and I upgraded, so I’m enjoying all that.
Does the mail sorting treat every incoming message as a Newsletter by default? I’d like some help with changing Settings if this can be changed. Thanks for asking!

Crashes Only
This app doesn’t actually work. When you open it, it freezes like it’s attempting to open, then it crashes. No amount of restarts or reinstalls will fix this. Not happy with this app, it doesn’t have the basic features that Google has either.
Text size
It’d be really useful if the text size on mobile devices was adjusted automatically to be larger.
Verification fails
Does not install. Loops verification. I always suuspected I wasn’t human, a free app used by 100M people confirms it.
Horrible experience
I created an account three times and got suspended immediately after opening them,that doesn’t even make sence it said I was banned for privacy violations I haven’t even sent any mail or anything I just opened it ! What did I even do ?

Security Joke
I love Proton and their products but this app has completely removed the app-level security configuration from my account a half dozen times now.
Every few updates I am suddenly able to open the app and see EVERYTHING without authentication, even though I set it to AUTHENTICATE EVERY TIME I OPEN.
Get a grip if you’re going to claim security is your primary goal.

Great security. Some tweaking
Love the security, privacy and encryption. But some tweaking needed on Inbox display. The grouping of emails from the same sender is annoying. Its better if theyre just displayed individually.
Text too small
I used to be able to see what I was writing, but alas now something has changed and text is now way too small! Cannot adjust ( or cannot seem to find how I can adjust the size) have looked on forums but nothing. Perplexed and sad.
Slow to start, delay happens on both iPhone and iPad
It happens since the last update 7.10.1
Before it was working with no delays.
When I launch the app, it takes two seconds to appear. The screen is all white and then it start working. I tried to delete the app and restore it few times, but the issue stays. When it starts before I login it’s fast, after I login the white screen / delay happens . Please fix it!

Great mail client
I only have a single issue with Proton Mail ,and all of the other Proton apps, functionality that is available through a browser,or a PC isn’t all available in the apps. Would be awesome if Proton developed an account/profile management app. Other than that it’s a fantastic mail app that just works.

I have been using proton mail for about 2 months and I am enjoying its privacy features a lot. I also pay for the 200 gb cloud storage and it is worth it. I highly recommend this app to everyone.

Overall love the progress and the better mobile experience.
Please continue to improve the UX and UI to give the user a more natural experience with navigation.
Bug report: sometimes emails are hidden or don’t show up, and only 2 out of all unreads are show until you toggle when all email are supposed to show up.
