Slow, clunky
When I delete a message, it’s still there. We are seriously going backwards in technology.
Great email
No ads. Love the simplicity!
I Love Proton Mail !
I have been using ProtonMail for a number of years.

A privacy policy that shows we are valued as customers
Now this is a gold standard of a privacy policy. I wish all gmail users would wake up and switch to a provider who actually views you more than the data they can sell. Love what you are doing Proton! Keep up the good fight for all of our futures
I Love Proton 😀👍
I love the e-mail service, VPN & in general what they provide. I really wish they could provide text messaging. For the rest I give Ten stars Ten stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ , 100% Satisfied.
Email at its finest!
I was around when AOL went live and Yahoo was the first “free” email domain! Proton’s security put email on a whole new (much needed) level of privacy and security! Thank you Proton! And I still hold “most” of my proton tokens from the airdrop! 🤑
Doesn’t clear notifications in the background
Works overall but reading your mail on another device does not clear the badges from your phone. I constantly have phantom notification badges on my phone from emails I read on my pc hours ago. Very annoying but otherwise the app works fine
Compatibility?
Not working with my iPhone 14
Trust
Proton operates flawlessly and is trusted beyond reproach.

Accessibility is broken
With the app getting the upgrade to Support liquid glass and iOS 27, users with voiceover can no longer navigate to the delete button in the email. They’ve got to find the three horizontal dots activate that menu and then use the gestures to find the move to trash option. The liquid glass menu bar is not accessible anymore. Oddly enough when you’re looking at the inbox, it’s unfortunate that there’s no options to be able to swipe up and down for users of voiceover to select an email for deletion and delete it directly from the inbox like you can on the native iOS mail app.

💜 Proton Mail
I made the switch from Gmail and NEVER looking back. A must have if you live in the US. Love the privacy, security and the entire infrastructure so far!
Thank you
Appreciate the help from the agent/representative that assisted me with my acct today. She went above and beyond to help
Best secure and private email without question! Gmail doesn’t even come close to Proton Mail!
Without question this is the best email hands down. For a secure and private email it is extremely functional and well built. It’s such a polished service that even Gmail can’t come close to proton. I’ve used proton services for many years and I’ve always been impressed. Make sure ton check out the other proton apps such as proton drive, proton VPN, proton pass and more. I highly recommended everyone to make the switch and drop Gmail for good. Gmail isn’t safe to use anyways due to the mass collection or personal data. Proton 10/10 +++++

The Best
The title says it.
Thank you!
Thank you!
Impossible to use if you dont already know how to use it
You cannot ever recover your password
Solid!
Little limited on account space but usable! The app gets very slow and the keyboard inputs gets extremely delayed if you are typing in a long email thread for pen pals.
Proton
Amazing features, love that it provides this safety for free,
They’ve been advertising their pay to win stuff for more storage etc, just hoping it will stay free and useable for people who have to put their money elsewhere

Best privacy alternative to Gmail!
