On point so far

Whatever you guys are doing , keep doing it. Your other apps including email and calendar are clunky and slow and missing intuitive features. But ProtonMeet has been wonderful so far!

Response from developer

Thank you for the support. Feel free to reach out to us through the contact form on our website with more details about any issues you may be experiencing with our other apps. We'd be more than happy to help.

Pretty good

No option to call other participants from the call. Does not call to notify other participants of incoming call.
It’s real good other than that.

Better than expected

Proton Meet is terrific! Runs very smooth. For it being one of their most recent launches, it runs well. Lots of features likely to come in the future to fully compete with companies like Zoom but for standard needs, it has everything I could ask for in a web meeting app.

Camera Won’t Turn On

I’m paying for a premium version of this by my Proton subscription. I tested this out yesterday and today. Yesterday the app kept crashing. Today, the app worked but the camera would not turn on. I think I deserve a refund for being asked to pay for a product that is still clearly beta.

Response from developer

This might be related to your specific setup, so please file a bug report using the "Report problem" option in the app settings with more details such as the iOS version you're running, the type of internet connection you're using, whether you've granted Meet the necessary camera permissions, etc. If the app is still crashing, let us know the exact steps you're taking that trigger the crash and whether any errors pop up. Once you've submitted the bug report, please update your review with your ticket number so we can follow up accordingly. Meanwhile, you can try switching to a different network to see if there's any improvement. With the above in mind, we'd be very grateful if you'd consider increasing your rating, as it supports us in expanding our privacy-first services to more users.

Audio when sharing screen not working

This is a five stars. Just one problem, the fact that I share my screen often for videos with audio and at the moment I’m not capable of doing that. the audio on the videos seems to not be working.

Response from developer

Thank you for the review. We're hoping to support audio when sharing your screen in the iOS app in the future, so keep an eye on our blog and socials for any news and updates. Meanwhile, this should already be supported on the Meet web app at meet.proton.me.

Simple and easy to use

Simple and easy to use

Bye Google!

This was finally the nail in the coffin with my situationship with Google! Removed my phone number from their stuff, finally. The Proton app is a bit simple, but at least it’s solid and has E2EE! Thank you!

Oh, and an Apple TV app would be amazing!

Nope

Wouldn’t let me sign into my paid account. Not a good look.

Response from developer

Sorry to hear about that. Did you recently enable post-quantum encryption on your account? If so, please try again, as we've deployed a backend fix for the issue. If this is fixed for you, we would appreciate it if you could reconsider your current rating of the app.

Amazing!

Transitioning over ASAP

⚠️ big bug

① please add ability to add participants

Response from developer

Hi! Thank you for the feedback and 4-star review. Proton Meet is designed primarily for professional use, where participants are often not connected on Proton. For this reason, inviting via email through Proton Calendar is currently the preferred way to add participants and share meeting links. We've shared your feedback with the team as we continue improving the app.

Time Caps

This shouldn’t be restricted to an hour for proton unlimited customers. Company is starting to get greedy and picking and choosing what features paying subscribers get.

Response from developer

Including full Proton Meet access in Proton Unlimited would require increasing the price of this plan, which we would like to avoid. Meet is resource-intensive to run, and since we don't rely on ads or data monetization, Meet subscriptions help us cover operational expenses and ensure we can continue to put your privacy first and keep Proton independent and privacy-focused. It's also worth noting that the free Meet plan is quite generous and you can rejoin meeting rooms if you hit the 60 minute limit. If you want to use Meet for the purposes of your business, we would recommend upgrading to one of our Workspace plans. With this in mind, we'd appreciate you considered giving the app a higher rating, as it supports our mission to make privacy-first services more widely available.

Clean and functional

Good job devs.

Response from developer

Thank you for your support!

Great E2EE

Glad this is finally available. Glad to have good E2EE video calling though Proton.

Always trusted-Another Perk

Love it so far . Clarity and a clean user interface. Quality and execution look great . Been a premium user since around 2018 . No regrets with them on any of their apps . Keep up the good work proton .

Non functional for guest users

There’s no UI element for making calls without logging in. Edit: I hope corporate isn’t forcing crunch.

Response from developer

We appreciate the feedback. The option to start a meeting without logging in will be available in the next release, so stay tuned. In the meantime, as a workaround, you can start a meeting as a guest using the Proton Meet web app at meet.proton.me. Taking this into consideration, we'd truly appreciate it if you would consider giving us a higher rating as it helps us expand our privacy-first services to reach more people.

Mükemmel & Perfect ;)
