VPN servers aren’t safe
Updated the developers should hang their head and shame. They should be ashamed of themselves because their implementation of the UB key you because security key does not work correctly. At the end of the process when you finally swipe your UB key for the last time, the developers at proton have dropped the ball. They have not implemented the correct code. It does not work. The UB key app works every single other app works with a physical security key using UB key but the developers at proton need to go back to school. They need to redo life. They need to start over. They need to go through college again. They need to learn C-sharp again. They need to learn Java again they need to learn JavaScript again. They need to learn swift again. They need to relearn objective see again . They need to learn how to implement simple third-party integration with absolutely vital physical security key standards using the FIDO standard and FIDO2 standard where professional and qualified developers who graduated from Stanford at Google and Yuki have collaborated together to define a standard that these developers at proton can’t even implement. Also, when I asked to decrypt my data, they could not do it because updating your password breaks every single email in your inbox. You developers should quit your job and let qualified people take your seats after they are cleaned thoroughly Bottom line is if you can put your hand on a server the data is yours. You’ve got a drill. Physical security is pointless. You got a drill drill through that rack. You pull the server out you run John the Ripper rainbow tables you got the password you got to decryption key in two weeks. The story is over. The developer response is irrelevant. Although I am enjoying the VPN app, the United States government has decided against VPN as a security safeguard for the following reasons. This company is based out of Sweden and the chief information officers would need to be extradited in order to bargain with the grand jury after sentencing were they to store any inappropriate materials on their servers upon which the ATF task force could use a small drill and un rack the 19 inch servers and the storage area network where all of our data is stored extradite and ship that to the FBI where the description key could easily decrypt this data after bargaining with the chief information officer, and he would handover and surrender the digital key fob or security key containing the description key so this security safeguard really isn’t secure at all. I’m sorry to say.

Connectivity issues
Dunno what I should expect from VPN performance, but, assuming the connectivity issues I’m experiencing is due to Proton VPN, I’m not impressed.
VPN disrupts sites
I am unable to visit certain (a lot) of websites when the VPN is turned on.
