Good and bad
I’ve been using it for a year. Good :you can use funds as soon as you authorize a transfer, you have available funds to trade as soon as you sell anything, fees are very low
Bad: it says that you can withdraw funds as soon that account settles however it doesn’t. The system says it can take up to four days but it’s been a week and nothing . It’s a great research tool however funds management is horrible and very difficult to reach customer service .

It’s one of the best platforms I’ve had. They have a great set up with AI. Great place to invest your money.
Spreads and Rolling still sucks
Rolling defaults to debit even if your option is a credit.
Rolling is a very slow process that sometimes fails. Editing roll and other option limit orders sometimes fails.
Rolling for $0.0 on the web UI is blocked.
Spreads aren’t grouped.
Managing a proper book on this app is so slow and impossible. They won’t fix the basics, but ooh ahh let’s add useless AI…

This app has unhidden rules an fees they don’t tell you about do not invest I’m switching back over to robinhood there way better
Pretty Good
The app design itself is very nice and UI is very gorgeous imo. Very easy to follow and see everything. The agents setup and the API’s I’ve started using them a little bit and are a fun addition that separates this from other brokerages. The support has always been helpful which is nice touch too. Only thing that I don’t like is how long the deposits take to settle for you to use. But overall this app has a lot of great potential.

Going to have to leave public, they updated and removed the AI assistant trying to force an agent agreement . I paid $100 a year but not for this, since they want to do this, I have to leave.

Terrible brokerage
Absolutely terrible experience. Public is attempting to forcefully liquidate all of my positions because of an issue involving a linked bank account, despite me having already completed the requested bank verification. I was restricted to selling only for months, and now that the issue has finally been resolved, I’m being told my positions will be liquidated instead of giving me reasonable time to transfer my assets to another brokerage.
I bought these positions as long-term investments and should be able to decide when I sell them. Forcing a liquidation on their timeline can have serious financial consequences, especially when the customer is actively trying to transfer their assets elsewhere.
If you have meaningful investments, think twice before trusting a brokerage that can put you in a position where your holdings may be forcibly sold with little time to respond.
I bought these positions as long-term investments and should be able to decide when I sell them. Forcing a liquidation on their timeline can have serious financial consequences, especially when the customer is actively trying to transfer their assets elsewhere.

Slick Platform and Great Support
Even though they are relatively new to the investment space compared to alternatives, this app punches way above its weight. The platform is genuinely tech-savvy, smooth to navigate, and the customer support team has been responsive every time I’ve reached out. Highly recommend!

Frequent updates, but nothing changes. Options still suck.
It’s amazingly bad that for years now they just can’t options right.
Options orders still default to debits, even when adjusting an existing credit limit order. I’ve donated hundreds of dollars to market makers going too fast with this “defaulting to debit” and “switching to debit” behavior when selling options and rolling. You have toggle the switch back to credit every time.
They don’t group multi-legs. A simple short put credit spread has the legs mixed up among all other options positions, requiring me to do some eye gymnastics and rough math to understand at a glance how the position is doing.
Where’s the promised AI agents?
I’m still waiting for my preferred position sort—by “Portfolio weight & 1D change” instead of “Price & 1D change.” Sorting by price is useless. How public are you if you prefer sorting by price?? The name fits, ironically.
Everything else has slowly, very slowly, gotten better. I’ll keep waiting.
