About
PubMerge imports, compares, and merges .jwlibrary backups on your iPhone or iPad. Everything stays on the device. Original files are never changed.
Use it when notes, highlights, or bookmarks live on more than one copy and you want one file you can restore.
How it works:
1. Import at least two .jwlibrary backups. The first copy is the primary base.
2. Choose what to merge: notes, highlights, bookmarks, tags, fields, and videos/photos.
3. Compare the copies. Search by words, filter by device, edit a note, or delete it from the merged list.
4. Resolve conflicts one by one, or apply a rule to all (newest, primary, secondary, or keep both notes).
5. Export a validated .jwlibrary file and restore it in JW Library.
Important: JW Library replaces all data on a device when you restore. Make a fresh backup of that device first.
Playlists from the primary copy are kept. If you turn off videos and photos, the export is much smaller.
Languages: English, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese. If the system language is none of these, PubMerge opens in English.
PubMerge is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania. JW Library is a trademark of Watch Tower.
