About
Z520 lets you raise and lower your hand in Zoom from your device—without touching the laptop keyboard.
How it works
• On computer, Z520 runs as a local server and controls Zoom (Option+Y shortcut) with Accessibility permission.
• On mobile device, a large button sends the command to the laptop over the local network (Bonjour/TCP).
• Same Wi‑Fi. No accounts. No data sent to the internet.
Great for
• Hosts and participants who need to raise a hand quickly
• Classes, meetings, and events where the laptop is out of reach or busy
• Multiple mobile devices connected to the same host
You can also use Back Tap (Settings → Accessibility → Touch → Back Tap) with zoomhandremote://toggle or the “Mano Zoom” shortcut.
The admin can pause all devices connected when needed and resume when the session allows.
Languages: English, Spanish, and Simplified Chinese.
