Pukkala is a social network for the body's most overlooked signal: a fart. Push to record. Get a score. Drop it on the feed. Every flatulence event runs through a real on-device DSP pipeline — twelve acoustic features extracted from the raw audio (duration, peak, RMS, spectral centroid, flatness, rolloff, dominant frequency, zero-crossing rate, and a 13-coefficient MFCC vector). Each gets classified into one of six deterministic classes — silent, squeaker, trumpet, wet, compound, classic — based on distance to centroid in feature space. No black-box model, no training data, no drift. Pure analysis. THE SCORE A single number from zero to one hundred. Four weighted terms: — Duration. Normalized event length, capped at five seconds. — Intensity. Peak amplitude and RMS energy, A-weighted. — Spectral richness. Centroid, rolloff, and the first three MFCCs. — Rarity. Cosine distance from the centroid of your last hundred events. Your score is benchmarked against your own history, not a global average. THE NETWORK Anonymous if you want, public if you don't.
