About
Measure your heart rate and HRV (heart-rate variability) by resting a fingertip on the iPhone's rear camera and flash. No sensor or wearable needed.
TWO MODES
• Heart rate (20 s): a quick check of your current pulse
• HRV (60 s): RMSSD, SDNN, pNN50 and mean IBI. If your finger slips, put it back and the measurement continues
UNDERSTAND THE NUMBERS
• General reference bands (normal / low / elevated), color-coded
• Comparison with your own 30-day median: "your usual", "below your usual", "above your usual"
• A "Reading the numbers" guide explains each metric, its reference ranges and how to measure well
SEE THE TREND
• Charts of heart rate and RMSSD over 7 days, 30 days or all time; tap a point for date and value
• Last-7-day average versus the previous 7 days, with a short note on what it may mean
• Everything is stored on your device and can be deleted any time
HOW IT WORKS
The camera reads the tiny brightness changes caused by blood flow as the flash shines through your fingertip (photoplethysmography, PPG). Video is never stored or sent. Signal quality is shown live, and noisy readings are clearly marked as approximate.
OTHER
• English / Japanese / Traditional Chinese
• No account, no ads, no network, free
• Not a medical device. Values are for reference only. Consult a healthcare professional if you have concerns about your health
