I can’t believe that I lived without this.
Now I know exactly when my sump pump runs and for how long. The mystery is solved. I am reassured that it will alert me if there are any problems with the pump. [Update: a few months later. Still love this device. I would give it 20 stars if I could. 9 inches of rain yesterday. I was confident that my sump pump was fully functional. I could monitor the performance through the storm.]

Great App
Having just replaced an expensive sump pump which burned itself out due to a faulty float switch staying "on" even though the sump had been emptied, I wanted to find a device which would protect the replacement pump. PumpFuse comes highly reviewed and rated, so I gave it a try. I am totally impressed with the hardware and the associated iOS software for monitoring, alerting, and, if necessary, automatically disabling the pump if it is running dry for any length of time. As a retired electrical engineer with 40+ years of experience, my judgment is that they have included all the necessary and appropriate measurements and associated control logic to ensure reliable and accurate detection and loss prevention. The change log shows a very large and constant initiative to refine and improve their algorithms. The hardware device is also very nicely designed, has excellent Wi-Fi connectivity, it is totally automatic. For sure this is a five star product!

Way better than PumpSpy
This thing is amazing, connects to weak wifi and stays connected unlike PumpSpy.

These things will save you money! They work as advertised and are amazing. There is only ONE major issue. In multi pump systems when you get an alert it doesn’t give you the pump name and you have to figure it out by clicking through all your pumps.

We’ve improved this behavior in an upcoming update (version 1.20.157, coming very soon). Now, when you tap on a push notification, the app will automatically open the correct pump/device directly, so you no longer need to click through multiple pumps to find the source of the alert.
