Honestly, I avoid giving bad reviews because I genuinely wouldn’t gain anything from spreading negativity but this is just poor and bad behaviour in all honesty. Previously you could filter your searches or what you’re looking for ESPECIALLY ethnicity which is vital and now, that feature is gone. Please bring back the ethnicity search feature because it’s incredibly important. Some can’t marry outside their ethnicity so removing that feature is counter productive.

This app is not user friendly
You should make you app like Muz Match. Muz match is very, super friendly to use.

Have to update every time i open the app
The new look is better, but the problem is that every few days you have to KEEP updating the app. The bio and everything deleted so i had to start fresh again and rewrite my bio. Some people haven’t even noticed so i’m here reading blank profiles.

This app seems to have been made to imitate common dating apps. The emails are quite annoying, so I've sent them all to spam. Whenever I get on the app I am quickly inspired to get off it. I don't see profiles that are compatible with or interesting to me. I would like to filter out brothers of certain age and location for both those who can see me and those I can see. I would like to be able to delete messages and block profiles I'm not compatible with, the inbox is too cluttered.

Money grabbing
App used to be good but now everything is behind a paywall. You can’t even search or invite someone to view your profile without premium. It’s genuinely shameful the greed to make everything paid

Very Good marriage app but unfair pricing
I’ve used this app on and off. For starters compared to their competitors like muzz, this app definitely feels as close to having a more serious marriage tone. The focus is on comparability rather than attraction where images are by default not the main topic but are revealed at any time. The feature for wali good amount of filters are great too. A lot more people here are serious about marriage as opposed to hooking up as a result of the setup.
My complaints:
1) lack of profiles. There are many profiles yes, but a good amount are inactive and there seems to not be as many new users coming in on the sisters side, making some countries and searching for the right wife a bit more challenging. This is even more challenging when you have specific needs like Niqabi within a certain country etc. advertisement campaigns would be great.
2) As of recent, they’ve changed the membership’s. You now have a limited amount of searches and conversation starters. In theory this sounds ok. But when you have 30 and you send 25 and 3 reply and few don’t while majority are inactive, this feels unfair and predatory. The recharges aren’t cheap and doesn’t guarantee these are active users. If you want to maximise cashflow, focus on doing ad campaigns, social media in a halal way. Many new services have had success like this so there isn’t an excuse here in my opinion. Ultimately I feel the memberships should reflect a fair structure to the nature and economy of the app.
I express these opinions as I see great potential in the app and believe it could be much better if the above are looked into, implemented and there’s more success as halal marriage services spread with success reputation too.
An option for salafi would be a bonus too as some sisters to explicitly state this and madhabs are included but that’s not a must and falls into sunni anyways

Absolute scam & joke of an app
Seems like the new development has binned off the purpose of the app & instead a way for the business to make money. Owners should be ashamed of themselves. You pay for a subscription that doesn’t even unlock any features, and on top of that they want you to pay more to use basic features, and put an unexplained limit to justify charging for features. What exactly concludes the limit if it seems like the only thing you can do even with a paid subscription is read and save profiles. It used to allow you to invite people for free, exchange albums with a premium subscription. But now you can’t do any of these even with a premium subscription. how on earth are people supposed to use this app. To top it off, the UI is broken. Absolute joke & scam from a Muslim owned app, charging people for a broken app & still not delivering/unlocking features after people have paid over £18. Their response to this review literally proves everything I’ve said. I’ve literally explained that once I had paid for premium it had already put a limit & locked all features before I could even use them. The fact that their app isn’t even functional in other areas/broken UI which I had already explained further proves my experience & other customer’s experiences is literally their fault yet they want to respond with pathetic excuses & suggesting that the customer doesn’t know how a basic product should work. Instead of apologising they make excuses & pass on complains to their non existent complaint team & never get back to you. Muslim businesses need to do better, what an absolute embarrassment & shock.
