Unbelievably bloated for no reason
Update, Aug-23. I downloaded to see if I might forgive this dated junk because of the SY85 samples they’ve now released to iPad. Nope, not purchasing, an in app purchase of a classic synth samples isn’t worth the frustration of dealing with this app. This app is 3.5gb in size, 90s workstations working on less than 1% of the sample size still sound far better than this. Here’s the thing, 3.5gb of samples and yet nothing sounds like the instruments they’re supposed to be. There are better free iOS synths out there than this. Every update results in a full 3.5gb + download, which is frustrating, they’re not programming effectively. The effects rack seems to be the only real positive to this, and that can be bought as a standalone, grab that, forget this, it soon got deleted again.

Incredible product and staff
I own most of their products across desktop and ios and they’re all amazing. I’ve used PSP at least once in just about every song I’ve produced over the last 3 years and in many of my live performances too. Reliable and of high quality. Presets sound great and the flexibility of the controls makes this ideal for both preset players and sound designers. Recently, I had reached out to the staff for some additional clarity surrounding one of their expansions; their response was quick, patient and consistent until we reached mutual satisfaction. I can’t recommend this company or their products enough.

Pure Glide Urban Synth
When I installed Pure Glide, I found that the vast majority of what was contained is missing. There are buttons labeled "Requires Download" and when I tapped on these, there was a message telling me that "samples are missing." I know of another musician I encountered on YouTube who said he had exactly the same problem. Wasn't this tested before putting it on the App Store?!

More than a Rompler! This is the One
It’s hard to place high expectations on one app to do most of the things you need on this platform. But with its full featured design and expandable library, you really do get the best of the Gospel Musicians ecosystem in one app! The sound quality is desktop quality, warm, edgy, punchy and the IFX palette of sound effects is powerful. Split, layering, effects, user patches, and raw Sine, Saw, Triangle and Noise waves make this more than another rompler. You can do sound design with it too! Once you learn your way around the UI, it’s smooth sailing!

In app purchase
This app has brought me through lost of song services but is now acting up for me. I don’t know why this is happening but every time I use the app by its self on a sound the sound make a very high pitched sound in the background , I noticed the audio light on the app starts going from yellow to red and the sound drops out slowly. I need help with this situation this is my go to app. This is very disappointing.

Bad sound quality
This synth is nothing but disaster. From the moment I opened it I got nothing but trouble. The sound got distorted and harsh, the control is difficult to operate. I have never experienced such a horrible sounding device. The return was impossible. So I threw $20 to garbage can. Thank you apple for standing for your customer. Take this money and buy yourself flowers

What happened to my purchased packs?
Why can’t I access any of my sound banks that I purchased? I have no idea what email am I supposed to log into? I thought that my Apple ID was enough to be a valid license but it’s having me go through the ringer. I’m deleting this app until this issue is resolved.
Had Issues But Support to The Rescue
I downloaded the Clarity Grand expansion pack and it wasn’t work like all my other expansion packs and products from Gospel Musicians. For some reason there was a (big) delay or no sound at all. I really like the demo and wanted this to work for me so I contacted support and BOY did they come through!! We exchanged a few emails until we got to the root of the issue.
I’m glad I reached out! I’m glad support and I were patient with each other and I’m glad to see it resolved and it works just as well as all their other products!

They deleted all my sounds and now the app doesn’t work anymore
Was one of my favorite apps now all the sounds I bought disappeared and it no longer works sad
Latest Update
I had no issues until latest update on black Friday 2024, using ipad 12.9 16.7.10, Pure Synth will not play any sounds that i purchased before pure synth became free. Please update again to help fix whatever is causing this. 🙏 Thanx.

Four years is a long time on IOS. No progress has been made with the interface, which remains clunky. Some of the sounds are very nice, but…it’s a huge app. It falls over more than it should. The focus seems to be selling more add on packs. Disappointing.

I have had Pure Synth Platinum for quite a while and love the digital and acoustic pianos. I also love the ability to crossgrade other libraries from this dev. This is extremely high quality. The new Yamaha editions are so awesome!! Absolutely tremendous!! If I could crossgrade the Neo-Soul Studio 2 libraries it would have everything and be the only romper I would ever need. Well, it already is, but it would be nice to be able to do that. The ability to use external storage is a beautiful thing.

I love the factory expansion , I can’t believe I held off as long as I did , the ratings on this app are way too low I’m not understanding how it’s not higher and worry it’s because people who got it free have random complaints . I’ve had no issues running multiple instances in aum, logic, and cubasis . I also absolutely love the suitcase piano expansion and createmosphere. Trying to decide which one to get next ! These are breathtakingly beautiful samples in the iaps on an otherwise free synth and it’s very generous what is already offered free but very worth adding on more.
