Inconsistent
I’ve used this app for 2 years now. It seems to loose chunks of the bar graphs everyday and the LIVE information is often wildly inaccurate between the app and the battery. At time of writing, the inverter is at 3.6kW yet the app is saying it’s 1.6kW.
It’s impossible to reliably know what the charge state of the battery is.

Very poor app
1. Sometimes get stuck and requires logout/login.
2. Scheduled charging setting won’t change - stuck at last setting. Deleted app and data, logged in again, but still the same issue
3. data display is rudimentary
4. Should be able to change algo settings from the app Could be sooooooo much better!!!
update: 7Jul24 The app b often doesn’t update - logout and login again is required. Pressing the refresh button is to no avail. This unreliability means there’s no benefit to the Solis App.
Pure Drive support is extremely poor as is there complaints department, mainly due to being so unresponsive.

The ideal app for the householder
Provides the information the householder needs to monitor their system, something other reviewers do not understand and see the app as a statistical tool.

Not sure this is actually good enough to be beta
Where to start.
In terms of data there is a nice visual graphic that tells you where the electricity is going and this matches the Solis app. That works.
There is no way of finding out what it has been doing during the day that I can find. So you only get a snapshot of time. It looks pretty but of no use monitoring the system over time to work out payback etc.
Programming the system is utterly useless. I have Puredrive battery and Solis inverter. I used the Puredrive app to set charging and set a 10 minute charge window to test the app and function. When I went to the inverter to check what is set it has programmed two completely different times and it is not a 10 minute span but 17 hours! The functionality to programme batteries is clearly incompatible and broken.
Best thing to do with the app in its current state is delete it. If the developer wants clear feedback as to what is not working I am more than happy to share information if it improves the app.

Useless
My solar installer put the app on my iPad and showed it was “talking” to the system. Since then the display hasn’t changed once. Clearly it isn’t talking to the solar installation.
Awful upgrade
I used it to program my solis invertor 2230-0600 but it actually used 0000-2359 so charged 20kw batteries at my peak cost time 1700-1830. It rhen constantly overwrote my new settings so I had to disable guest access and delete the app. It’s not properly tested and obviously faulty. Don’t use it. I’ve emailed puredrive and I see other users are having similar problems

What a mess
So first you stop my batteries charging one night then the next night you randomly charge them in the evening. I’m going to need to remove Puredrive access to my inverter because clearly your app cannot be trusted.

No-one monitoring stability
Midday on Maundy Thursday, and the app stopped working (for myself and a friend). It’ll be Tuesday after by the time this is resolved (at the earliest). Feels rather amateurish tbh
Work to be done
As another reviewer says, the supply of solid, reliable information to the user is essential. This app seems to work OK but favours smart graphics over accessible information.
It is entertaining to watch the real-time energy flows and the graphs look good but extracting the data behind those is not possible. Where is the ability to download historical data for self-analysis?
On first acquaintance Pure seem to be fanatically controlling. Very happy to gather your data (which must be very lucrative) but very reluctant to cede any control to the client.
Why do I have to register with them just to assign a nominal feed in a tariff for my own information?
Their hardware comes well recommended but their centralised, inflexible approach to presentation and data is quite disturbing.

Very good
App is good. I’ve knocked off one star because it logs out after a few hours. Other then that, a helpful and useful app.
Poor App
The app is very unreliable and often broke down for days. The data on solar generation is crucial for anyone embarking on a ‘Go Green’ journey as it helps in making the right decisions your consumption pattern. Puredrive needs to up their game and make sure they have a reliable intuitive app encouraging customers on their carbon neutral journey.

Not working
Either blank or showing 0 generation for panels despite it being sunny at noon. Also doesn’t show daily summary. All this despite updating app.
If I'd known how bad it was, I'd have picked a different battery.
You can't control anything through the app. No charging schedule, no weather planning, nothing. Completely lacking in functionality compared to other batteries on the market.
App gets stuck
My app got stuck on 17th July. 4 weeks later still not working. (Yes I have turned the battery off and on and removed and reinstalled the app.). Puredrive have been very difficult to contact and when I used the address through the App Store no response. Very disappointing. It is not the 1st time the app has stopped working.
