First, the loop you hit after entering your details is a real bug on our side, and the fix is in the update going out now, so please update and try once more. Second, Amanah access exists for exactly your situation, no card, no payment, no questions, and if it turned you away then it was broken too. Write to us in the app or by email and we will open full access for you ourselves. You are struggling and still trying, and Allah sees the trying. May He keep you firm and make this light on you.

Assalamu alaikum, and I am sorry. What you ran into is a real bug in the handoff at the end of onboarding: the start button pushes you back to the resume screen instead of into the app, and dismissing that screen leaves it frozen. That is our fault, not anything you did. The fix is in the update going out now. On the paywall, nobody has to pay to use PurePath. There is an Amanah option on that screen that opens everything for free, on trust, with no card. Write to us and we will restore your old account and your streak rather than making you start over. May Allah make it easy for you.

Best app ever
PurePath is a really helpful app for Muslims who genuinely want to improve themselves and break bad habits. I really like how it combines Islamic guidance with practical recovery tools, rather than just being a simple streak-tracking app. The reminders, reflections, duas, and recovery features make it feel supportive and motivating.
I also appreciate that the developers provide Amanah Access for people who genuinely cannot afford the subscription. I think this is a beautiful idea because it allows people who are struggling financially to still get help. (Google Play)
One thing I would improve is the Amanah pledge. Some people may technically have money but need that money for essential weekly expenses such as food, transport, and other necessities. It would be helpful if the app explained more clearly what “cannot afford” means, so users don’t feel uncomfortable about making the pledge.
Overall, I think PurePath is a very meaningful app with a great purpose. I hope the developers continue improving it and making it accessible to more Muslims. May Allah reward everyone involved in creating it and helping people become better. Ameen.
