What's New in PureSpend

2.0

October 19, 2026

PureSpend 2.0 is the biggest update yet. • Plan and Spending: Plan holds what you intend — income, bills, budgets and one-time costs. Spending shows what actually happened, grouped by day. • Private statement import: bring in CSV or OFX/QFX files from your bank's website. They're read entirely on your iPhone, nothing is saved until you review it, and re-importing skips what's already there. • Smarter categories: PureSpend learns from your corrections and suggests turning recurring charges into bills. The built-in categories are now fewer and clearer, and your existing data moves over automatically. • A refreshed design: every screen now shares the same calm paper look, with clearer headings and forms that all work the same way. The + for logging spending now sits at the top of Home, and pulling down on Spending reveals search. • Made for iPhone Duo: two columns on the inner display that stay clear of the fold, and controls that move to the side when it's closed. • Better on iPad: Home, Insights and Goals use the whole screen, and Plan and Spending show details side by side. • A guided setup that builds a real plan in a couple of minutes. • Full support for the largest text sizes. • Fixes, including duplicate net-worth history and the first tap after entering an amount on iPad. As always: no account, no bank logins, no trackers. Your data stays on your device unless you turn on iCloud Sync.
