It’s OK

This game is very short, which I didn’t expect for the price tag. If you’re going to buy this game, keep enrolling that there’s more story than action. I do have to give the developer props if they’re a small development team. The game is OK but not the best that I played.

Arcade mode

I am going to ask about the arcade mode for different challenges. If possible how soon would that be added to Purple Friday? I can’t wait to really try that. besides it’s still a five star rating for me. Keep up the good work it’s a really great game. I played it a couple times clear to the end and I loved it. i’m just wondering when is the arcade mode going to be added?

Best audio game of 2023

Purple Friday is an audio game that exceeded my expectations and stands as one of the finest in its genre. From the flawless sound design to the innovative concept of Purple Friday, every aspect of this game is truly remarkable. One standout example of the game’s immersive audio experience is the binaural sound design in the elevator during the first scene. The spatial audio creates a realistic and captivating environment, making you feel like you’re actually inside the elevator, heightening the overall sense of presence.

The navigation method in Purple Friday is equally impressive. It involves utilizing the accelerometer to point the character in a specific direction and interact with equipment. This interactive approach adds a layer of engagement and realism to the gameplay. It’s a refreshing departure from traditional touch-based controls and further enhances the immersive experience.

The attention to detail in both the sound design and navigation method showcases the thoughtfulness and creativity of the developers. Purple Friday offers a unique and captivating audio gaming experience that pushes the boundaries of what is possible on iOS devices.

In conclusion, Purple Friday is an audio adventure that has left a lasting impression on me. Its innovative gameplay, meticulous sound design, captivating music, outstanding voice acting, and interactive navigation method make it a standout choice for anyone seeking an engaging and immersive audio gaming experience. Kudos to the dedicated team behind Purple Friday for their remarkable creation!

Really good game

Really good game. I found it on the App Store by going under accessible games. I come across this game I bought it download it and I’ve been playing it every sense. I can’t wait to see what the other arcade moods gonna be like thank you and keep up the good work. I meant to say arcade games.

Yeeeees ...

Great sound and music, interesting backstory, nice dialogue, great vibes overall. Unfortunately the game mechanics are absurdly trivial throughout and the game has absolutely no replayability, indeed one walkthrough I heard basically asked what objects should be used in any given scene for every scene, which just about sums up the problem: it's just not immersive enough. It would be more correct to see this game as a kind of improvisatory sonic experience, rather than a game, in which the player has no real effect or agency except to provide a pretext for advancing the story; there isn't even any choice as such, your actions either succeed or fail. Anyway, look, it's not all bad, buy it for its good points, but clearly it wasn't complete as is, but rather a very compelling audio theatre experience concept. I do love the sound engineering though, very swish!

Wonderful game

excellent game i really felt like i was back in 2008 or 2011 trapped in a gigantic lab.
Excellent work by the voice actors, the atmosphere really matches perfectly, I hope that new updates will be released in the future, although I would like a space-time race where you will test how fast your reflexes are.
I'm willing to pay for that update if it costs money, since there aren't many games like these I hope you guys keep up the good work.
And the most wonderful thing about this game are the mysteries that it holds, for example it is still unknown at what time the history of the game takes place, the only clue I have is that it is futuristic.
The mysteries add much more atmosphere to the game, I hope there will be future mysteries although there are many mysteries to solve.

Thank you for the fantastic feedback! We're thrilled to hear that the game brought you back to those nostalgic days, and that the atmosphere and voice acting resonated with you. We're always working on updates, and your idea for a space-time race sounds exciting—it's great to know you're willing to support new content. The mysteries are indeed a key part of the experience, and we're glad they added depth for you. Stay tuned, as we have more surprises and mysteries planned for the future! Keep enjoying the adventure!

One of the best audio games I’ve played

I wasn’t sure if I was going to like this one based on the description, but I love it. Everything from the sound design to the concept of the traveling time soda is amazing. The can drop to indicate scene changes is a nice touch to. hopefully games like Joe’s memory are accessible as well.

Thank you so much! We really appreciate the love! Beside the Story Game we will add an Arcade Mode with challenging games in the near future for free. Stay tuned! Best regards, Your Team Friday

too dreadful for words

well that’s not quite true because, if it was I wouldn’t be writing this would I? Too short, too easy, too annoying. That hint object really gets in the way after a while. if it disappeared once the hint is read out it might not be so bad but it doesn’t. The dialogue is snappy and not bad. In fact, if this game has any redeeming feature it is that it is well performed and interesting. Beyond that, it’s a very short, very easy game to play but it ends abruptly, too abruptly I’d say leaving the player in utter limbo. I can only hope there will be updates because otherwise, unless you like short easy games it’s really a waste of money as it stand right now anyway.
