PWood AI is a research-oriented mobile application for wood species screening from macroscopic end-grain images. The app uses the macro branch of the XyloMaMi model to support preliminary identification of 100 wood species in the PWood/XyloMaMi macro set. The app also provides access to curated reference information from the XyloMaMi Bench library, including the Congo microscopic reference set and the PWood macro dataset used in the related research. PWood AI is designed for research, education, and screening support. Its predictions are intended as reference information and should not replace formal expert identification, legal inspection, or professional wood anatomy assessment.
