I was excited to potentially switch over to Qobuz for a number of reasons, but after a month it hasn't worked out. The music catalogue has a lot, but still a ton of missing songs/partial albums which was odd. I didn't really notice a different in sound quality despite listening on devices that could support higher sound quality. Downloading playlists to listen offline genuinely took 5-6 hours (playlist consisting of ~100 songs) and then suddenly the app was taking up 24GB of my phone storage after I tried to download another ~100 song playlist to listen offline. On top of that, I experienced a few bugs, music would stop playing randomly and my own created playlists would suddenly show up as "Private" and I couldn't access them anymore without fully logging out/closing app/redownloading app/etc. this happened more than once. The last thing that bugged me was that there were very little comms about renewals and the free trial ending, so I was auto-billed for an annual subscription (despite selecting monthly billing) and never saw an email to cancel or change it and that is non-refundable. I guess it's cool I get to listen throughout the rest of what I paid for but I'd rather have my money back. Maybe once they make more improvements to these headaches I might try again but for now, not for me.

Paid for nothing
Paid $2 for the music and want to download the music file! But it’s not working! Just have the right to listen the song in the app!! Then why I have to pay for listen? It’s not worth ! And also the page and app design is very bad!

Used to be good
I had this app for about a year and it worked really great for about six months. Great selection of music quality however I’ve had nothing but technical issues since then I just tried to resubscribe and it doesn’t even recognize my subscription so I’m moving.

love this app but it’s buggy
i switched to qobuz under a year ago and refuse to switch back to spotify, and i fell in love with the app. however i have had to delete and redownload it several times because my search stops working. it’s very frustrating especially since i have to redownload all my playlists.
Wish it worked better
I switched to Qobuz for artist equity and sound quality, but I make playlists a lot for work and it’s soooo glitchy to change the order of songs. Sometimes songs will play one week and not the other, sometimes I hit songs to play and it plays the previous song in the playlist. I hope they continue to improve their UI.

This app is a nightmare
It never downloads my music, I’m constantly getting error messages, my playlists get deleted, my artists are now “out of country” I’ve never experienced such horrible buffering and glitches within an app. I can’t believe I wasted nearly a year paying for such a useless, buggy, inconsistent, and unreliable music company.

Qobuz review
Amazing app in my opinion much better than Spotify especially when it comes to app colours, layout and design + sound quality. The only thing I can say about this app that I would like to be added is a qobuz wrapped, basically a review of everything you listened to over the year.
Stagnant Lame Player
I’ve been using Qobuz for about five years, and I honestly don’t understand how this app has managed to remain so stagnant. Still no EQ. Five years. An audio streaming app in 2026, and there is still no basic equalizer. Want +3 dB bass and +2 dB treble? Apparently that’s too much to ask.
And somehow, the app has actually lost functionality over the years. One particularly useful feature was the ability to prevent streaming over cellular data and restrict streaming to Wi-Fi. That option is now gone.
So let me get this straight: five years of updates, no EQ, and useful features have disappeared along the way.
Qobuz constantly markets itself around sound quality and audiophile listening, yet its mobile app still lacks basic tools that users have been asking for forever. Great music catalog, great audio quality — but the app feels like it’s being maintained by people who rarely use it themselves.
At this point, I’m not asking for some revolutionary feature. Give us an EQ and stop removing useful settings.

i dont know how to explain but the music sounds soooo good with Qobuz 😍 i would give five stars but youre not able to put a picture to be a cover on your playlists 😭 it takes me much longer to sift through my playlists like this!

there is a glitch where every time i open the app it asks me to pick artists i like as though i just opened my account (i went through that process already and shouldn’t have to do it again)
Always disconnecting
I was kinda excited to use this app but unfortunately it doesn't work as it should be. It always stops playing, always disconnects from my speaker and it's always having problems of some kind. It's ridiculously buggy for the price.

Quite noticeable sonic upgrade
I’m an audiophile always seeking the best sound quality I possibly can. I read in a few reviews that Qobuz did have the best sounding files of the major options. I was using Apple Music and Amazon HD and surprisingly, high rez files at the same resolution sound quite noticeably better feeding my dac’s (iFi Zen Dac 3 and a bunch of Fiio dongles) coming from Qobuz. I didn’t expect it to be as big an upgrade as it is. It’s as much as a major component upgrade such as new dac, amp, etc. Also note that for many of my favorite recordings, the Qobuz default resolution was higher than in either Apple or Amazon. Good example is the Linn catalog - most of it that I’ve added to my library are full 24/192 where they were lower than that in Apple or Amazon. For an audiophile, that’s a great surprise! Highly recommended!

The upgrade package is supposed to get you 60% off high as files But more like you get $.30 off selected tracks a huge rip off for the upgraded price
Disappointed
Cannot shuffle library, does a poor job finding “like” music you would want to listen to. Songs stop midway thru for no reason. No app instructions, cannot contact Qobuz to learn about app. If they could be like Spotify

Downloads terrible
Extremely slow downloads. Speed test at 1.2 gig download, 200 mbit upload. Takes forever to download mp3 quality music
Good enough for me!
Spotify and apple music give their profits to horrible entities and pay their artists poorly. Qobuz has High audio and all 2000+ of my liked songs transferred over. Happy to switch
I love the values behind this company!
My only complaint is that I wish I could delete the song I’m playing from its playlist without having to select it first from within the playlist. I want to be able to do it from the actual player.
