About

Drive further, stay on the air. QSY hands you off between amateur radio repeaters as you drive — the way your navigation app offers a better route. Enter a destination (or just start driving) and QSY ranks every repeater along the road ahead by how much of your route it covers and how likely it is to be active. When a better machine comes into range, QSY announces it over your car audio with a bit of history — who runs it, what nets it hosts, who you might hear — then switches after a cancellable countdown. • Works the moment you install it — worldwide repeater data, no account and no sign-up, cached on-device so it keeps working with no signal • Optionally add a free RepeaterBook key for their larger directory and the trustee/net details QSY reads aloud • Auto-switch with voice announcements and a cancellable countdown, or confirm-only mode • Radio control over Bluetooth: Icom CI-V radios (IC-705/IC-905 built-in Bluetooth; IC-7100 and most older Icoms via a BLE-serial adapter on the CI-V jack) and CAT-capable Yaesu/Kenwood rigs via a Bluetooth CAT bridge. Radios without a control protocol (e.g. Yaesu FTM-series mobiles) get clear tune-by-hand cards instead • No radio? Get a tune-by-hand card with frequency, offset, and tone • Listen-in fallback via each repeater's Broadcastify feed, discovered automatically by callsign • Favorites and recent destinations, one-tap re-routing • All modes: FM, D-STAR, DMR, Fusion, P25, NXDN, M17 Built for licensed amateur radio operators. Always follow local laws on device use while driving. Data courtesy of RepeaterBook.com and hearham.com.
