Crashing

Please fix keep crashing

Rubish

Absolute rubish if you use with 2FA since you closed the app and after 1 second open an app it can not log in because of 2FA .
Useless app

Remarkable app for syncing between devices

This is great if you have iOS/iPad/Mac/Windows devices, it allows me to synch photos, documents etc easily so I can access documents etc no matter where i am in the world

Tinkering

You have to tinker it to get to work perfectly which I have done and after watching NAS Compares video on the app so I feel better now that I got to work.

Response from developer

无法选择iOS设备上的配对文件夹

无法选择iOS设备上的配对文件夹,这么大的问题没人理会?这个软件根本没法用!

Doesn’t work

Unable to select local folder on iPad when setting up paired folders. Constantly hangs. Worthless app.

Browsing Issue

When trying to select an iOS folder you get asked to enter a folder name. No browsing feature.
Rest of it is simple to use.

App Update 3 days ago

The app was updated 3 days ago so I’m giving the app 5 stars mainly because of that update. It fixes the crashing and issue with not being able to save/share to other apps which were the biggest complaints from previous reviewers but there are still many issues with this app as it uses many of the same functions from the Qfile app but is still slower and buggier than that main app. QNAP users at least have an app now that provides file syncing (more Dropbox like) vs the Qfile app which is more of a file manager (more like iOS Files app) but this app needs better integration with iOS files and also should just work more like Dropbox/OneDrive/Google Drive which all integrate better with iOS files (and so does the main Qfiles app)

Buggy

Very unreliable sync, freezes and crashes also. Very poor, I’m running latest IOS on iPhone XS

Terrible

Integration with Files app doesn't work.

The only way you can access files is within the app, which makes it impossible to edit files in any other application.

Needs selective sync

Why the omission of selective sync for IOS? Without selective sync I need to either sync everything, or manage loads of individual folder pairs. The differences in implementation and features between platforms make this difficult to use seriously.

Totally unusable!

I would give this app a zero star if it has that option! It doesn’t show any local directory for selection. On the NAS folder selection, it doesn’t allow user to select subdirectory. For the sync, it only has two way sync. Unlike Android version, it doesn’t offer one way sync. It seems this app is totally untested! I am expecting the basic functions between IOS and Android versions should be very similar and functioning! I am definitely very disappointed with this IOS version of QSYNC!

Where is selective sync?

Where is selective sync? I installed this app on iOS 12 max pro. Did not see this option! Version 1.0.2.

Keeps crashing and seems like a beta not a finished product.

As it says above, the app will open and immediately crash. I hope they follow up and fix this so I can backup my family photos and videos on my NAS.

No selection of local folders...?

Android version works much better. In that one, I can select local folders to sync. With this one, it gives me a space to type the folder name. How am I supposed to know? Stupid...

Not mature - always crashing - great support though

I tried for 4 days to set this app up to work with my QNAP NAS.
In the end, I failed. I get the app to sync, but even thought the space is occupied on my phone/iPad I still cannot access any files without network.
And this is in the best case that the app doesn’t just crash when I open it - which it does 9 out of 10 times.
This needs some serious love from the developers.
On a good note: the customer support team does a great job and tries to help where they can.

Not even Stable

This barely even qualifies as pre-alpha. Selective sync has completely useless logic. You must start with everything selected and subtract everything you don’t want to sync. If you invert the root and only add what you want to sync, it fails entirely. This tells me that the checkbox states are not evaluated at all.

Additionally, syncing is a complete nightmare. Your initial sync starts in some tiny little dialog that you apparently aren’t supposed to close, even though background sync is built in to the app. So you can’t just set it and forget it, you have to leave it running like some ridiculous program from before the dawn of multitasking.

And it crashes too. So, tl;dr - there is nothing “pro” about this app. How could Apple even approve such a bug riddled app?
