App does not work
This application does not work. You log in, and it takes you to a white screen with one search bar at the top that does nothing. It literally has no interface on IPAD Pro 2021
It works, but barely
It’s great that qualtrics has an app now to allow offline administration of surveys. That being said, this is definitely the worst qualtrics product I’ve ever used. Every time we update anything in the surveys we use we need to log out of the app and log back in. The app often freezes or things like that and then you have to restart it or log out and log back in. It’s a good concept, but it needs some serious work.

I bet the five stars are employees
As mentioned by an interviewer before me, API errors are common with literal error notifications that pop up. Also, horrible interface, it really feels like an app in the 2010s. Also just broken most of the time, avoid downloading it to save you the time.

Ignore the bad reviews
This app works fine! You have to make sure you read through the guidelines they have online for using the app however, as certain functions of your survey may not be compatible with the app. Essentially, as long as you don’t have some crazy complex survey with loads of randomization and quotas in place, this app will work perfectly for collecting your data (definitely did for me!).

The most ineffective app ever!
Crashes
Used this app for large expensive field studies. Frequently crashes and deletes data from interview. A company like qualtrics can and must do better.
Absolutely Horrible!
Buyer beware! This app is absolutely horrible. It is now so bad that we are barely able to complete our work using it. We are DEFINITELY searching for a suitable replacement.

Mixed Feelings
The Qualtrics App is at once very useful and extremely frustrating. It is useful because Qualtrics is the best online survey platform and the app provides the opportunity to collect responses using said software offline. The surveys also, generally, are presented nice and clearly (depending on your level of competence with the software). Qualtrics staff are also very responsive at trying to resolve problems/answer questions. Unfortunately, the downsides to the app are also quite numerous:
1. The app is extremely slow and unresponsive when it comes to managing surveys, especially if you have a significant amount of surveys on your account. Even just refreshing one single survey often takes several minutes. This is extremely frustrating if you say updating 15 iPads for a field survey...
2. The app is incompatible with various question formats and the compatibility checker provided on the site is unreliable, making it almost useless. I have had to spend hours looking for questions that are causing compatibility problems with the app and invariably it has never been any of the questions indicated by the compatibility checker. Instead, it was usually questions that were not flagged and which are claimed to be fully compatible. Custom Java and even fairly basic question customisation, such as moving sentence borders, often does not work well with the app.
3. The app is also relatively unresponsive when running questionnaires- there is a short delay from registering the touch input into a selection choice in a questionnaire. While this is short, maybe like 0.5s, when people are used to instantaneous responses from touch screens it often makes them double tap and hence skip pages/select all etc.
4. The app crashes. Every time I have used the app in the field it has crashed multiple times during surveys and not even recorded the partial data. Even if this is only occurring 5% of the time, it really shouldn’t be happening 1% of the time, given the charge to use the offline service (around £1000 across a site license).
Due to the reasons above I can’t fully recommend the app as it currently stands. It has plenty of potential and Qualtrics is still an amazing platform but the app really needs more work to make it value for money.

Like many users, my account is through my employer. The app does not accept my credentials.

Routinely crashes
We bought an iPad for our research lab in the hopes of using qualtrics for survey administration and it has been nothing but problems. Cannot use this app for surveys with any kind of sophisticated features (menus, randomization) or it crashes and deletes data routinely. Very disappointed.
