Great

It is a great app and it is easy to use. The app gets a point off due to no way to get to developers to report a problem. The problem is that they offer you something special if you do their app 3 days in a row. Unfortunately it is not working and no way to contact developers to report a problem except to giv them a review.

App not working

The app is not working properly. It can’t even enter to the homepage!

Fun and unique language learning app.

I love how this app uses AI to create short stories that I can read aloud, so I can work on my pronunciation. Being able to adjust the comprehension level on the fly is something I greatly appreciate.

I just have two small suggestions. It would be great if this app was iPad-native. It would also be great if you can tap on a word within a story, and create a flash card for future reinforcement.

This app is definitely worth ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

Don’t waste ur time

Since I accidentally purchased a $60 subscription and my refund request was refused, I decided to give it another chance. It’s still absolute garbage, you won’t be learning a single thing with this app.

edit: The developer is claiming that I initially wrote a 5 star review. What kind of scammy dev are you and how come Apple hasn’t blocked you yet?

edit 2: You are very responsive to these reviews I'm writing, I'm curious why you keep on ignoring my emails and Instagram messages.

My response and Questions

I really like it so far for some of the languages that I know and I bought the lifetime option, expensive but worth it! Which is so going to be very helpful! 👍🏽 😁. Can’t wait to use it! But I got a few questions. 1. I don’t mind the voice when you click on the word in the other language but will it get a better native sounding like later on in a future update? 🤔. 2. Will there be added new languages in the future? Thanks! 😊 also I should mention that should be like a guy and girl option where you can hear their voices. You know what I mean?

Response from developer

Thank you so much for your support and for going with the lifetime option—wow! 😊 We’re really happy to hear you’re enjoying Quazzl so far. To your questions: 1. The pronunciation when tapping on a word uses your device's native text-to-speech voice, so it can vary a bit depending on your settings. We're looking into ways to improve this experience over time! 2. Yes, we do plan to add more languages in the future—thanks for your enthusiasm! And the idea of offering both male and female voice options is a great one. We'll definitely keep that in mind as we improve things. Thanks again for your thoughtful feedback and for being part of the Quazzl community! 🙌

Lovely way to learn

This app feels like a gift to me. I love reading as a way to learn languages, and this app has found an interactive and interesting way to make it happen. I am very happy this app exists.

Misleading

Very functional and effective, but misleads the user into believing the app is free, just to end the lesson with a pay-wall.

If it's a paid app, give it a price.

Otherwise, very good.

Response from developer

Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad you found the app functional and effective, but we’re sorry if the paywall felt misleading. Quazzl offers the first few chapters for free so users can experience the app before deciding if they want to continue. This model helps us keep improving the app while making sure users can try it out first. We appreciate your thoughts and hope you enjoyed what you experienced so far. 😊

suggestion

It's quite interesting, but it can't translate a single word. It's better to add a word book to record the words. The sentences are also a bit mechanical and stiff.

Response from developer

Thank you so much for your review! In fact, we are working on single-word translations including explanations etc. for the selected word since 2 days, and we hope we will be able to release it even before Christmas. Stay tuned and have a lot of fun reading stories with Quazzl! 😍 Edit: The new version with our new translator was just released! Please update the app to enjoy single-word translations, explanations to the word and much more! Thank you so much again for your suggestion! 🤩🙏

Individual words

This is a neat idea. It so cool to be able to have stories made to read. It needs to allow the user to click on the individual words they don’t know and go to a definition and pronunciation of that word, instead of just having a translation of the whole sentence. This will allow users to read what they know, and learn what they don’t.

Response from developer

Thank you for your feedback and for appreciating the idea behind Quazzl! We’re excited to let you know that we’re already working on this feature. You’ll soon be able to translate individual words and view complete sentences effortlessly. On top of that, you’ll have access to more details about the word, such as its meaning, pronunciation, and other useful information—just like in a comprehensive dictionary. We hope this will make your learning experience even more intuitive and enjoyable. Thank you for being part of our journey! 😊 Edit: The new version with our new translator was just released! Please update the app to enjoy single-word translations, explanations to the word and much more! Thank you so much again for your suggestion! 🤩🙏

Amazing Potential !!!

Very unique, helpful, and fun app to learn a language by reading AI-generated stories. A few suggestions for the future, though, that I think would be useful and convenient are an option to select one word and get the specific translation inside the complete sentence translation, as it may be a bit tricky to decipher a specific word because of grammar changes. Another suggestion is to have the voice speak out the entire story without having to click on the sentences and to have the ability to stop and start from any word. It is nice that you can review the entire story that the AI created but would be good to have the option to delete the ones not needed. This also leads to an opportunity to add some more helpful tools and possibly structure towards learning a completely new language, where you are able to save unfamiliar words from the AI stories and can review them until comfortable, possibly by having the AI use selected words from this category in the stories. Also, a feature that tracks words that would be commonly used with the language learning levels to help you track your learning progress would be nice. For example, if someone is at an A2 level, the words that they are introduced to in the stories would be tracked for the common words learned at that level. Once that person is comfortable with the majority of the words, a notification appears recommending that they can move to level B1. I really enjoy this app, and I think it has lots of potential. Hopefully, you developers take some of this constructive feedback and expand this app from just being used as a helpful tool for people already somewhat familiar with a language to review, but also see the opportunity to add the tools for a full-on learning experience, like the app Duolingo.

Response from developer

Wow, thank you so much for your thoughtful and detailed review! We’re thrilled that you’re enjoying the app and finding it helpful and fun. Your suggestions are fantastic and align closely with many ideas we’ve been considering for future updates. The ability to translate individual words within the context of a sentence is definitely something we’d love to implement, as it could make learning even more intuitive. Adding a feature to play the story audio continuously and letting users stop and start from any word is another great idea—we can see how that would enhance the learning experience. We also appreciate your feedback on managing AI-generated stories, like deleting unused ones, as well as creating tools for saving and reviewing unfamiliar words. These are exciting opportunities we’d love to explore further, along with integrating language levels and tracking progress more effectively. The level recommendation system you described sounds especially helpful for guiding learners—thank you for suggesting it! It’s amazing to see such thoughtful engagement with the app, and we’re truly grateful for your support and ideas. They inspire us to keep improving and expanding the app to make it a complete and rewarding learning experience for everyone. Thank you for being part of the Quazzl community, and happy learning! 😊 Edit: A new version with our new translator was just released! Please update the app to enjoy single-word translations, explanations to the word and much more! Thank you so much again for your suggestion! 🤩🙏

So help for me, but when I click the words to translate, it was crushed

Response from developer

Thank you for your kind words! We’re glad you find the app helpful, but we’re sorry to hear about the crashes when clicking on words to translate. This isn’t an issue we’ve encountered before, so we’d love to investigate further. Could you please send more details about the problem, including your device type and app version, to hello@quazzl.app? Your input will help us resolve this quickly. Thank you for your support and patience! 😊 Edit: we have just released a new version with an entirely new translator 🤩 Please update your app and try it for yourself, I think you will like it!
