Slowly but surely.
I downloaded this app early in the year and found that it didn’t offer enough functionality to track with the calendar so I made my own spreadsheet.
Now. Half way through march it is looking pretty close to perfect.
Something I’ve noticed is that there is not a space to record what followers you have that are inactive. Hopefully that’s fixed before it’s an issue.

Lacks Functions (Updated)
The update incorporates level up perfectly. I looked ahead and there are still some functions the app doesn’t seem to facilitate. Namely, resetting notoriety to zero and raising an attribute or increasing max help.
The app works great for now, but it seems like there’s another cliff coming where it will no longer do everything needed.

Lacking essential promised functionality
Today marks two weeks since we were supposed to level up our characters and this functionality is still missing from the app. Even longer ago we were given the option to create our own custom characters but the app can’t handle that either. My calendar is stuck on February 4 and the app is currently useless.
I understand the devs have had a hard time getting the new update approved by Apple, but to my understanding, this is the third or fourth year in a row that they have done a companion app like this for the calendar, and the basic functionality of the app itself is copied from previous years’ apps, just updated with the new items, abilities, and characters for the new calendar. It seems inexcusable to me that this app could not launch with full functionality from the get-go, much less lack essential functionality on the days that it’s needed. If they lack the dev support to be able to offer a fully functional app, there’s no point in offering an app at all.

Please add Level Up!
Love the calendar and the app is a great companion. However, today I got the instructions to “Level Up” and the app doesn’t support my change in stats. Please add this feature soon! Apple’s app reviews take up to 48 hours these days — this is not on them.
Developers are lagging.
The app is unusable for now, until an update to enable all the ‘coming soon!’ features. You currently can’t level up your character, so it’s useless to follow along with the game.
Lacks Functions
I’ve seen the developers response about the holdup being Apple’s approvals for key functions, but given there are many years’ of this app you would think the devs would be familiar with approval deadlines and submit accordingly.
I haven’t kept track on paper at all and rely on this app to follow along. I’m disappointed I am now behind because the app doesn’t have proper functions.

Shouldn’t take this long
We are over a full month in and still waiting on critical features available from prior years.
Not complete
Great addition to the calendar game but. Though it’s a month and 5 days in yet still many features are not functional like you can’t level up, looting doesn’t work etc.

Needs to be finished
It’s a great companion app, but it’s missing features that should be mandatory. Today, Feb 4, is the first day your hero gains a level, but that feature is entirely missing.
It would also be useful to add bonus roll and minion usage to the roll dice modals.

No levelling
It’s a neat app that gives a good way to keep track of all your stats in the game. But today is the day we moved to level two, and the leveling up is not functional. So it went from being really useful to completely useless overnight.
App lacks basic functionality
Supposed to be leveling up in the calendar today but the app lacks this functionality. No communication from the devs since January 25th on this matter.
Willing to change this review when they fix it, but right now the app is unusable since it lacks so many essential features such as the ability to level up and activate premium features.

Makes the calendar worth it
I bought the paper calendar and write-on/wipe off character tracker. This app makes the whole purchase worth it. I can easily play multiple characters, for one thing. Also makes it so I can do it when I travel (or play ahead when stuck on an airplane). The review is 4 stars, not five, because they are waaaaay behind on releasing feature necessary to keep up with what’s needed by the calendar. They’re saying it’s an issue with Apple, but it’s been at least 2 weeks! And it looks like it was features that were in prior years, so should have been in the original one!

Lacks functionality
We are one month in and the developers still haven’t added the functionality of custom characters to the app.
Good but could be better
It is a companion app so take this with that knowledge in mind. I love these calendars but they always wait to release stuff that was in last year. It is the same app with a reskin and new characters. Not to mention the fact the features show up in the calendar before they release it.
