About

THE FULLY UNLOCKED QUICKSCAN BOOK LEVELER, BUILT FOR SCHOOLS QuickScan for Schools is the complete QuickScan Book Leveler with every feature permanently unlocked — no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, no upgrade prompts. One purchase, everything included. Designed for teachers, reading specialists, and school librarians who level classroom libraries. BUY IT THE WAY SCHOOLS BUY APPS This edition is purchased once, up front — so it works with Apple School Manager and district volume purchasing, where in-app unlocks can't be bought. Buy in volume and qualify for Apple's education discount. LEVEL YOUR LIBRARY IN MINUTES, NOT HOURS Scan a book's barcode and see its reading levels in seconds - and see which of them QuickScan looked up and which it estimated: - AR (Accelerated Reader) / ATOS levels - looked up, never estimated - Lexile measures - looked up, never estimated - Guided Reading Level (GRL) / F&P - looked up from Scholastic when Scholastic has it; otherwise QuickScan estimates it and marks it ≈ - DRA (Developmental Reading Assessment) - marked ≈ when QuickScan estimates it - Grade level equivalent - marked ≈ when QuickScan estimates it - Interest level (LG, MG, MG+, UG) - AR Points and Word Count Above P, QuickScan doesn't estimate a Guided Reading Level: where Scholastic has no level for a longer chapter book, QuickScan shows none rather than a letter it can't stand behind. LIBRARY LEVELS REPORT See the reading-level spread of everything you've scanned at a glance — a distribution of your whole classroom library across level bands, exportable to PDF. Spot the gaps and balance your shelf. Export the gap report to share with administration or supporters to help build your library. IMPORT YOUR LIBRARY Already have a book list? Import a CSV (including one exported from QuickScan) to bring your library in without re-scanning. SAVE AND EXPORT EVERYTHING - Automatic scan history with full reading-level data - Search, filter, and sort to find books fast - Export to CSV for spreadsheets or PDF for printing - Share individual books or your entire library WORKS ON MAC, TOO Scan with your Mac's webcam right at your desk. Clearer about where every reading level comes from. - Looked up or estimated — Newly scanned Guided Reading Levels and DRAs now show whether QuickScan looked them up or estimated them. The ones QuickScan estimates are marked ≈. - A band, not a single letter — An estimated Guided Reading Level now shows as a band of letters, and the DRA is read off that same band. Above P, QuickScan doesn't estimate a Guided Reading Level: where Scholastic has no level for a longer chapter book, QuickScan shows none rather than a letter it can't stand behind. Already have a library? Nothing changes until you choose Update Levels & Covers. When you do, QuickScan re-checks each book against Scholastic; some levels will move, and levels from your own list stay as they are. Everything unlocked, as always — no in-app purchases, no subscriptions.
