Question about the music

Hello, I just wanted to say that this game is extremely accessible for someone who is blind like myself. Excellent job. I also wanted to ask you about the music in the game. I actually like some of the music and would even consider playing it outside of the app if possible.

Response from developer

Thank you so much! Making Quiet Grind fully accessible with VoiceOver matters a lot to me, so I'm really glad it works well for you. About the music: the next update adds a Music Player. You can listen to the full soundtrack with it, including in the background while you use other apps, and control it from the Lock Screen. It should arrive in the next few days. Thanks for playing and for the kind words!

Very Chill

A really good skill idling game. The likes of Melvor with less chaos tracking. The aesthetic is beautiful the grind is cozy. We need a discord or some sort of in game forum. Looking forward to see how the game evolves. One time purchase to unlock full game and additional features is a huge plus. Not a fan of subscription based games. Free to try, hands down would recommend!

Thanks so much, S¡N¡STER! "Cozy grind" is exactly what I was going for, so that's great to hear. Good news on the community front: there's already a Quiet Grind Discord! You'll find the invite on the website and in the app in the next version (1.8 onwards). Come say hi, and thanks for supporting a game with no subscription!

A great game

Quiet Grind is one of the best and most accessible games I’ve played on my iPhone!

As a VoiceOver user, I really appreciate how much thought has gone into accessibility. The game is easy to navigate, and the developer clearly cares about making it enjoyable for everyone. VoiceOver support is excellent, and the developer is incredibly responsive to feedback, constantly working to improve the experience based on players’ suggestions.

The gameplay is engaging, with tons of skills to develop, resources to gather, items to craft, and adventures to explore. I love the sense of progression and how the game continues working while you’re away. There’s always something new to discover!

I also appreciate that the game doesn’t bombard you with ads or energy limits. It’s a relaxing yet rewarding experience that lets you play at your own pace.

What makes Quiet Grind truly special is that accessibility isn’t an afterthought. It’s clear that the developer genuinely cares about the blind community and wants everyone to enjoy the game.

If you enjoy idle RPGs, crafting, gathering resources, and steadily building up your character, I highly recommend giving Quiet Grind a try. It’s a fantastic game, and I’m excited to see how it continues to grow!

Thank you so much, Maricriva! Making Quiet Grind fully playable with VoiceOver was never an afterthought for me, so it means a lot to hear it shows. Thank you as well for the feedback you've shared along the way. Many of the improvements came straight from players like you. There's plenty more on the way. Happy grinding!

Trouble with the inventory tab

First off. I want too say that I really love this game. Howevery I do have some issues.
First. I’m not seeing the some of things in my invitory. For example right now I’m chopping willow logs. And it’s not showing up in my invitory. No matter how I change the filter.
Also I bought some potions from the shop. But it doesn’t seem too be using them.
Can you give me some pointers on what I might be doing wrong?

Thank you so much for the kind words, and for taking the time to write in! Willow Logs not showing: your logs are almost certainly safe in Storage, just hidden by a filter. Storage remembers your filters between visits, and a couple of them hide logs: "Safe to sell" hides anything used in crafting (Willow Logs become planks), and "Openable" only shows containers. The easiest fix is to update to version 1.7, which adds a reset button next to the filters. One tap clears every filter and the search and brings back the full view. On 1.6, check that both chips are off, the section menu at the top is set to "All", and the search field is empty. Then open the Resources section. Potions: potions are never used on their own during a live fight. Open the combat screen and tap a potion in the "Potions" row to drink it. Healing potions restore health right away, and buff potions give a 5-minute boost. If you leave the app during a fight, your character will eat food and drink healing potions on their own when health runs low, but buff potions are always your choice. Happy grinding, and thanks again for playing Quiet Grind!

very refreshing + fun

I'm getting back into mobile games and was looking around for things that didn't have ads or energy bars or wait times, just something I could grind all day at and stop when I wanted to, but also that had a lot of progression and things to collect and do. I wasn't sure if I'd be able to find something that fit the idea I had in mind but this is exactly what I was looking for 🙏 I'm loving it so far and already purchased the full game expansion, I'm so glad that this exists and I found it

Thank you so much, lgangwer07! No ads, no energy bars, just a game you can grind as long as you like and put down whenever you want. That's exactly the game I set out to make, so it's great to hear it was what you were looking for. Thanks for buying the full game too. It really helps me keep building Quiet Grind. There's plenty more coming, starting with the Hallowmoon Festival on October 17. If you ever have ideas or feedback, I'd love to hear them at support@jasperblaauw.nl. Happy grinding! 🙏

Interesting game

Would be nice if there was an option for the background music volume. The music is nice, but it’s loud. I’d also like to see more sound effects of different types to really make this game come alive. More ambient sounds for different environments.

Response from developer

Thanks for the feedback, Lemoine! Good news: since version 1.4, Settings has separate volume sliders for Music and Sound Effects, so you can turn the music down without losing the rest of the sound. I love the idea of more sound effects and ambient sounds for each environment, and I've added it to my list. Sound adds so much to a cosy game. Thanks for playing!

Thank you

I just started playing this game and so far I’m loving it!
I love idle games and I’d like to thank the Dev for making the game accessible with voiceover!

Awesome game

As a totally blind player, this app game is really awesome, user face is very easy to use and navigate and very, very fun. VoiceOver does read all page elements. I really don’t see any bugs. But I do have a question: how do you make the skills that you are learning automated? so you won’t have to come back and restart it??? Maybe I’m missing something, but I would like to know how that’s all, but all in all I love the game and it is very relaxing too :-) Keep up the good work :-)

Thank you so much for this lovely review! We're really glad to hear that VoiceOver reads everything and that the game is easy to get around. That means a lot to us. About your question: you're not missing anything, because training already runs on its own. When you start a skill, it keeps going after you close the app. When you come back, the Welcome Back summary shows what you earned while you were away. A few details: • First, check that "Offline Progress" is switched on in Settings. It's on by default, but if it's off, nothing trains while the app is closed. • Idle time is capped at 8 hours. After that, training pauses until you open the app again. Opening the app collects your progress and starts the clock again. With the Extended Idle Limit upgrade in the Shop, the cap is 24 hours. • Gathering skills can keep going for the whole idle period. Crafting skills stop early if you run out of materials. • With the full game, you can use the Action Queue to line up to 3 actions in a row. For example, you can gather a resource and then craft with it, all while you're away. Thanks again for playing, and for the kind words. Enjoy the quiet grind! 🙂
