QuietSea: White Noise & Sleep

QuietSea is a tiny app that makes ambient noise. Every sound is generated on your iPhone in real time by a few hundred lines of carefully tuned DSP. There are no audio files in the app, nothing is streamed, and nothing leaves your device. You can play any preset for as long as you like — five seconds, eight hours, or forever. SIX HANDCRAFTED SOUNDS • White — even hiss across all frequencies. Mask conversations and chatter. • Pink — soft, equal energy per octave. Easy on the ears for long sessions. • Brown — deep low-end rumble. Like distant thunder or a waterfall. • Ocean — pink noise gently swelling like waves on a shore. • Rain — a procedural droplet pattern over a soft background hush. • Binaural — slightly different tones in each ear for focused ambience (use headphones). A GENTLE FADE-OUT Set a timer — 15 minutes, an hour, eight hours, or none at all. When the timer ends QuietSea fades out smoothly so you wake (or finish) without a jarring stop. The fade-out length is up to you. LIVE ACTIVITIES & WATCH A Lock-Screen Live Activity counts down the timer. The Apple Watch app starts and stops playback right from the Smart Stack — handy when your iPhone is on the nightstand and you don't want to reach for it. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account. No cloud.
