What free trial?
I just downloaded this and was told you have a 7 day trial, but instead I was charged immediately.

Great little app with great calculators.
Misleading-not free!
7 day free trial only. Then there’s a subscription fee. I cannot find the “manage subscription “ area to cancel. Afraid I’ll get stuck with a fee and couldn’t find where to cancel in App Store either. So misleading of Apple App Store and developer!!!
Helpful
I started out doing more simple quilting, but when this app became available, I started challenging myself with more intricate, detailed or difficult quilting. If I ran into a problem, I could email and get an answer right away to help me continue with my project . I love this app. It helps in so many ways, especially saving money By not buying too much or too little material needed for a project.

Unsatisfied Due to Deceptive Marketing
Very disappointing! On searching for free quilting calculators, this app shows up. It appears helpful, but as it is installing and setting up, it shows that it is a free trial for a designated time period. After the time period, it will then charge a ~$30 fee. This is deceitful because this information is not shown in the App Store. Due to this deceitful marketing without showing up front that it’s a free trial and then an annual fee, I will not participate in using this app and have deleted it. I want to support truthful marketers who are transparent about the product and cost to me up front.

Not user friendly.
I got an email from a quilting blog I follow and they said that this app would help me with my math calculations for quilting. I downloaded it and tried to follow the guide to use the app as intended. Set up for the free trial of the entire app. It was a complete waste of time. It was not user friendly whatsoever for a beginner quilter. I would not recommend this app at all.

Time and Money Saver!
I think the best thing about the Quilt Geek app is how easy it is to use. I just plug in basic info about the quilt that I already know and up pops the fabric requirements. No more guessing on my part about how much yardage I need. This app is both a time and money saver. Love it!
Do not buy SCAM!!
It does do any of the things it said it would do. I put in the measurements and it came back with the same answer 1. No matter what you put in.
Well Worth It
This app saved me from my miscalculation of sashing as I needed more fabric than I thought and less fabric for my squares. With the high cost of fabric lately, miscalculating can be costly AND trying to buy more fabric for sashing can prove to be a matching disaster if you run out before the quilt is done! I appreciate this app so much!

Tried to get me in an auto-renewing subscription before I could even see the app. Don’t list an app as free if the only free option is a 7 day trial.
Wow…just Wow!!
I absolutely love this app. As an experienced quilter I’m always “doing the math.” I’m good at math but it takes time to make the calculations and woe is me if I’m wrong. This app gives me all the information I need right at my fingertips and leaves me a lot more time to do what I love….Quilting. It has really changed the game for me and I’m ever grateful to its developers.

Don’t get this app
This app ask your email to send a verification code. The code doesn’t unlock any features. You must pay $3.99 for one month to use the features. This is a waste of time.
Great for stash busting
Quilt Geek does so much more than I thought it would, especially giving most efficient cutting layouts. I’m just getting back to quilting after a long break and this app gives me the confidence to just dive in and use what I have on-hand.
Very helpful
As someone who often just wings it when quilting, this is a great app. I just finish piecing the top and fill out the measurements on the app and bingo! Know how much yardage I need for backing and/or binding. Super easy and super fast. Plus doesn’t test my math skills.

This app has made my life so much easier. My quilt math is bad but with this app there’s no chance of underestimating the amount of backing fabric I need to order or the length of binding I need or … the list could go on and on. Thank you Quilt Geek!

Quilt Geek calculator
As a seasoned quilter, I purchased this app with no expectations & hoped features listed would be helpful in determining quick calculations with block building without a pattern. To my delight, the tools within this app are amazing. I love the math accuracy and options on determining block size “finished” or “unfinished”. I’ve used the Quilt Top borders calculator (mitered & non) that provides the strips to cut & yardage amount; the half sq and flying geese calculations are extremely accurate with simple cutting methods. This app is full of any possible scenario a quilter might encounter, i.e. how to use my existing fabric stash & design a block, determine top layouts, viewing borders & display sashing layouts, & using fabric saving cut layouts. The best part of this app, I am able to save my projects and quickly retrieve them while shopping in fabric stores or online. I’ve shared this app with other quilt guild members and they seemed impressed with so many options. I did consider buying computer quilt software but honestly having this available in my phone is much more efficient and easy to use. I know this was long but wanted other quilters to be aware of QG.
