Beware if using for personal use

I'm a product designer and have worked with a number of productivity tools. Quire was a tool I started using to track production work and I found it helpful enough that I decided to test it out as a personal productivity tool for my home. Unfortunately, it wasn't the right solution and I discontinued use after 3 months. I made a mistake and failed to cancel the annual auto renewal. Most companies are reasonable and will look at usage history to make a fair judgement call on whether to offer refunds on unintentional purchases. Quire's CX team wouldn't make an exception when I contacted them for a refund within 30 days of the auto renewal going through. I paid $400 to use their software for a total of 3 months. Beware of their stringent purchasing and return policy.

Full of love (just needs basic AI features)

The team that develops this must have a lot of love for their product. It is full of small details that just makes project management a calm, organised and structured process. Maybe it’s just my mindset which aligns to theirs, but this is hands down the best project manager. Just please please please add an AI task breakdown feature (and leave subscription costs alone). Thank you! 🙏🏻

Fantastic - but why only 4 projects

Absolutely brilliant the simplicity - so intuitive absolutely perfect for me and my team of 5 people setting up a hostel in Tenerife…but all of a sudden i hit the limit of 4 projects and now im in a jarring email chain with customer support trying to get the limit removed..i even upgraded to ‘enterprise’ and still have the weird projects limit.

Just to bring my problem to life a bit: I have one project for brand creation/social media and website development, one for updating and creating booking channels, one for improving the existing service, and one for handover activities to the new team coming in…but i need one for ‘finance activities’ one for ‘future expansion activities’ and therll definitely be more down the road…why the limit? Please rectify soon thank you

nothing loads!

It just says oops the page you’re looking for doesn’t exist!

It’s perfect for how I think!

I have been using Quire for years and I went on a hunt for any app that could have unlimited nested sub tasks, and none were great and would allow me to do that until Quire!

It matches the way I think and I can pour my brainstorming and advanced tasks into it.

The Quire team is super helpful and have accepted many of the feedback suggestions and ideas I’ve given as well as many other people. They are super helpful answering questions too in the feedback area.

I love how quickly it syncs between platforms and when I share projects with friends. It makes it so easy to plan complicated projects with many steps with sub tasks.

Good app, annoying in-app marketing

For the love of god stop popping up full screen promotions of your new calendar feature every time I open the app. I’ve dismissed it a dozen times already. I’m not going to upgrade. Another month of this and I might have to migrate to a different task tracker.

Unique gem amongst the productivity apps

I’ve tried hundreds of productivity apps in search of one that “just works” the way I need it to. Quire strikes the balance between just enough and not too much; it’s lean and gets the job done.

I appreciate Quire because I can quickly get projects in, and can immediately begin scheduling these projects in relation with one another.

I’ve tried apps like Asana, and while great for larger organizes, is too bloated for personal use IME.

If you need a GTD app with some light Gantt chart functionality, this is the one!!

Feature rich, free task app, what else you need?

Really enjoy the shortcuts and fast creation of tasks. Perfect for all project management.

Use it as your secondary, draft mind board that evolves into your private structured tree of tasks.

This app helps me balance

I joke with my colleagues and say all the time, if a task doesn’t make it to my Quire, it’s not going to get done. Thanks for all you guys do!

I LOVE this app. That is all.

Just kidding, I have more to say. Quire is quite frankly the most well designed project management app I have ever tried; and I’ve tried many. Asana, trello, clickup, monday, todoist, basecamp, the list goes on. Nothing is as simple to use yet robust. I can’t wait until they release their calendar feature. Their timeline view is already great but the calendar view might take things to another level. I know their UX/UI team will do an incredible job designing it. The only thing I wish Quire had was better analytics and integration with github. This is the only “objection” I get when trying to get my development team on the platform.

It lags when scrolling :(

Clean and simple

The idea of the app is creative and lovely I managed my task with my own friends easily and smooth 😊, I suggest to add in the app section notification area so can we change the tone when any task added because the default tone is not loud, it well be nice if we can change it to any tone we choose.

Excellent

Another review said it’s simple but robust and I 100% agree. I’ve tried so many task management systems to no avail on getting and staying consistently organized. Quire has been different in all the best ways. It has a clean interface. The ability to change the views from timeline, list or kaban boards in so unique and customizable to the needs of that specific list. The filter function is helpful and powerful. Highly recommend!

Love that app

We tried so many project management apps, this is the best one.

Get Stuff Done

I tried many outliners, or mind-mapping apps, but none are as effective and easy to use as Quire.

The simplicity of nested bulleted lists, with the functionality of timelines and due dates, with the space for comments and descriptions! I can create a new projects and describe ideas so easily! An All Tasks view gives me a summary of what needs to be done for the week!

Pro tip: create a Mystery Project and add unrelated random tasks. Once you understand more clearly what you're working on, you can transfer the task to the right project.

Suggestion: adding a time-counter for each task so I know how many hours I spent on it.

Otherwise, perfect application!

Been Looking For An App Like This

I have wasted a lot of time and money trying to find an app that could do what this one does. The multiple levels of subtasks are no existent in other apps so far as I can tell.

I just started using the app and have only scratched the surface of its capabilities but I rate it as FANTASTIC 16 plus stars. Been using and will continue to use Google Tasks in some situations because it syncs with Google Calendar which I also use.

Google Tasks and the Microsoft counterpart are very simplistic and I think those 2 companies are capable of a lot better so it was a real downer to see what they came up with. This app blows them away! It also blows away numerous other apps.

The only thing I would like to see is checkboxes so I could check items of quickly as I completed them. I know the boxes are there when you open the the item but it’s an extra step.

I say to the developers GREAT JOB!!

Excellent alternative to Wunderlist/ToDo

After Wunderlist was brought out and closed by Microsoft in favour of their own app ‘ToDo’ (which is buggy and useless), I no longer had a decent app to run the collaborative design side of my business through.

Having tested Quire, I have found it to be better and more powerful than Wunderlist. There are more features and you can collaborate with others who can comment and add pics/files to your list items. You can also arrange lists within multiple projects. I’m really happy with this app, I’ll be getting my design team to start using it from now on.

The app is free, I would like to have to option to pay to enable increased max file size (currently 6mb unless using google drive).

Great work!

Magic

I’ve used many organizational apps, and within 10 minutes of using Quire I was texting my friends about it. It’s SO simple with just the right amount of extended functionality. Pair it with a calendar and content management solution for a bold, zesty finish.

Almost Perfect

Quire is the only task management / project management platform I keep coming back to - and for an ADHD’er - that says a lot. I love the ease of functionality, simple interface, and clean aesthetic. Also very pleased with the ability to add tasks from Gmail. I hope Quire continues to build out their integrations while maintaining the high quality, simple product we love because I would legit pay for that :)

Waste of time

After adding 11 organizations and 21 projects a message indicated reaching quota !!!! I guess you get what you pay for. Waste of time. Moving on.
