Very disappointed

I chose Quo instead of Ring Central simply because I don’t need all the options Ring Central offers and quite frankly their interface is super difficult. I demoed Quo and was super excited with how easy everything was but unfortunately the actual call quality and texting leaves MUCH to be desired. My calls almost always sound like one of us is under water or far away. Regardless of if I’m on data or WiFi when taking the call. People frequently tell me “you just cut out for 10 seconds” I frequently get notifications saying my text was not delivered so when I go to the text it doesn’t have the red exclamation and the option to resend. So did it send? I have no idea!! Great question.
Also I don’t like how the app merges calls and texts in the same feed. It’s very overwhelming. I’m pretty sure I’m in a 1 year contract as I paid in full for the whole year to save money. I guess another lesson in business I have learned.

Not worth the trouble

While this is a great concept they have made it almost impossible. First registration is ridiculous then they

Warning - can’t receive texts or phone calls, and they are not cooperating to issue a refund.

Signed up expecting to be able to receive inbound text messages or calls but it does not work. I was advised on waiting till the trial period ends, but it still does not work to receive calls or text messages. Quo insists on sending them government id, but that would put me at risk of identity theft as they already have my full name address, credit card, records of text messages received and sent. Pair that with a government issued id, this creates a perfect situation for identity theft especially for someone working inside quo. All it would take is a person working inside quo to use your personal information along with a verification code to take over your personal accounts. The sad part is I paid for an entire year and quo is not cooperating to issue a refund. Will be regularly checking YouTube and other sources for existing class action lawsuits against Quo. If you have been wronged by Quo you are not alone , justice will prevail.

Good line, rough billing migration, lack of support

Two stars, and I wanted to be specific about why rather than just vent.

The product itself works fine as a second business line. My problem was billing. Quo's own help docs describe a "Switch to credit card" button on the Plan & Billing page to move off App Store billing. That button does not exist on my account. The in-app support bot could not fix it or explain it, and I had to be escalated to a human on the billing team to migrate the subscription on the back end.

The part that actually cost me sleep: I had already cancelled the App Store subscription on the understanding that direct billing would take over. Because the migration wasn't immediate, my live business number was left at risk of lapsing before the paid period ended. That number is published on my customer-facing material, so a lapse isn't cosmetic.

The support rep I eventually reached was responsive and did open a ticket. But a documented feature that doesn't exist, on the billing screen of all places, is the kind of thing that should never reach a paying customer. Fix the button or fix the docs.

It’s been a few days and nobody has responded.

Business Owners: Do NOT Trust This App

I built my business around this app. I had four business phone numbers connected to my account, and without warning I was suddenly logged out.

When I tried to sign back in using the same Google account, the app acted as if I were a brand-new user. My account was gone, and I lost access to everything.

For a business, this is catastrophic. Losing access to your business phone numbers can mean missed customers, lost revenue, damaged reputation, and no way to communicate with clients. If your business depends on this app, understand that this can happen without warning.

To make matters worse, there is no reliable way to get immediate help. I couldn’t reach anyone by phone, and my emails went unanswered. When your business is at a standstill, waiting indefinitely for support is unacceptable.

This has been one of the most damaging experiences I’ve had with a business communication app. Until the company provides dependable account recovery and responsive customer support, I cannot recommend anyone rely on it for their business.

Test for bugs before release…

Just wish I could open my app and the call log be fresh and current. Get rid of the useless search feature when you swipe down and make it a ‘refresh page’ option. This would solve everything. Since you already have a magnifying glass taking up space, why not? Phantom notifications are quite annoying. Things are falling apart over there.

Extremely poor reception quality and the customer service!!!!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel I have to share my experience. I am extremely disappointed with QUO.
Their customer service has been one of the worst experiences I’ve had with a business service provider. I’ve been trying for over a week to get clarification about unexpected charges on my account. Someone initially responds, but then the conversation simply stops. There is no follow-up, no resolution, and no accountability.
The call quality has also been extremely poor. My clients frequently have trouble hearing me clearly, which is unacceptable for a business phone system. I’ve reported this issue as well, but again, I haven’t received any meaningful assistance.
Overall, this has been one of my biggest disappointments with any company I’ve worked with. I expected a reliable business communication platform, but instead I’ve dealt with poor customer support, unresolved billing issues, and unreliable call quality. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this service based on my experience.

Unread Notifications Count is Wrong

Even after reading messages and missed calls the notification badge incorrectly stays as unread for multiple different inboxes/numbers. I found this true on not only iOS, but on the Web app and Windows app as well. So they have some sort of issue on their end with clearing the unread flag. Right now it says I have 24 unread items and there’s not a single unread thing in my app. Pathetic. Poor programming. Embarrassing for an app from a company so big.

Quo is the worst

Buyer beware. They don’t validate inbound calls to avoid scammers so i get like 100 scam calls per day. I clicked on add users as part of the setup with no notification of extra charges they auto billed be for a year at $45 per month instead of $15. No refunds! Good luck.

Terrible

Not user friendly. I don’t know if this app works the way I need it to. No promps. No AI set up questions. Cancel within the trial period.

Unclear payment structure

Charged my credit card almost $900 after I was lead to believe the cost for one year was less than $300. Customer service is a series of chat bots so the issue was not resolved in any timely matter.

Buggy

The app has a ton of small bugs. For example, it keeps thinking I have unread notifications even though I have cleared all my messages and calls. Pretty annoying. Ended up having to turn off notifications entirely. No way to clear them.

No support

Got locked out and helpdesk does not care one iota. No service, no help, it is a phone company and don’t believe you can call them. Pay and shut up and account access is a coin toss. Avoid.

Horrible interface

Had it for 2 months now and not impressed at all. Calls not going through. Ai answering and taking orders when we don’t want that

Trash

This is one of the worst phone companies I’ve ever experienced in my life from outages all the time to not being able to send messages to phone calls being dropped to unstable networks to the worst customer service they get back to you 24 hours later you lose sales, they don’t apologize. They don’t even offer you anything they don’t even give you a month free for letting you lose thousands of dollars because they can’t simply keep their phone lines from dropping trash company. I wish open phone never sold to them I don’t know who they are, but they need to go back to coding school.

Voice Delay during a call

My network is fast, but there is a voice delay during almost every call. That’s very annoying, specially when you talking to important client.
RingCentral was way better..

Horrible customer service

I’ve tried multiple times to get in touch with an actual person, and it’s been impossible. I’m literally trying to give you my money to start your service, yet there’s no one available to take it.

I’ve spoken with multiple people, scheduled a sales call, and even talked to someone who told me they were opening a support ticket. I never received the follow up email they promised. Instead, I keep getting the same automated “we’ll get back to you” message with no progress.

At this point, I’m honestly wondering if there’s anyone in leadership or even a real support team behind this. This has been one of the worst customer experiences I’ve had. The workflow for handling an issue like this is completely broken, especially for someone who’s trying to become a paying customer.

So what’s the plan to fix this? Is there actually someone who can take ownership and resolve it, or is this just an endless loop of automated responses? Right now, it doesn’t inspire much confidence.

Surprise Billing!

I signed up for one account, one user. Cost $20.25 after 7 day trial. End of trial bill $60.77. Why because they took my created emails from GoDaddy, made them users and sent invites to those emails. All three emails are me: info, admin and my name. Easy fix right? Nope. The bill stays. You can pay for nothing and next month the bill will drop. If you wanna get scammed this is the place.
