Do not recommend

I’ve had the worst time working with this company. I’ve been trying to get a hold of the company for over a month and their communication is terrible. Unless you want a horrible headache do not work with this company.

Does not work

Does not work as a alternative to a phone. Also, instructions to cancel are incorrect and it is almost impossible to cancel.

I wouldn’t use it yet

You can’t text. They must verify website and many small businesses don’t have a website. It’s a total PIA.

They safe a FB page is enough, but the page must be embellished, and up to their par. If most businesses were that big, they’d just get a regular phone.

Definitely not worth your time

Horrible Experience

It’s taken forever for my number to port over. You can’t talk to anyone. Number supposed to be ported over and I’m still getting text on my other network. It’s been a few days and should take this long. They’ve sent all these notifications that everything is up and approved…but it’s not!

NO SUPPORT

I have been dealing with an issue for weeks attempting to get my business number approved for text messaging. There is no one to contact and the emails take days to go back and forth. Also advertised that the plan I chose would allow up
To 10 people to use the account for the monthly costs. NO it’s that cost per person. So I pay over $40 a month for myself my one employee to take calls but not text! feels scammy. And we will see if they can get this resolved.

Scammy, unethical in-app purchases

I added another user to my account. I was unaware that this would incur a charge of $125, there was nothing in the UI saying I would be charged, and nothing after I was charged. I found out only when I received an email hours later. I immediately deleted the extra user and contacted Quo support. I was told I would be charged for a full year for 2nd user even though I deleted the user the same day and was unaware of the charge. They told me not to worry, that I wouldn’t be charged next year because I deleted the user (eyes rolling). This is not an ethical UI purchase path, as a product manager for apps, I know this is not allowed. Avoid this company.

Constantly broke

This app is trash, we have 7 lines, we constantly have ones that won’t ring because….. no one, not even quo knows, today all the office phones we down half the day. It’s almost like telecommunications is a brand new industry or something. If you like paying for things that are constantly broke with no fix, Quo is for you. Also customer service just isn’t a thing for these guys. I would be more satisfied honestly using smoke signals because then I would have some sort of feed back that it is working or not. Did I mention Quo is hot garbage? Utter trash -5 stars.

QUO

If I could rate less than 0 I would

Keeps missing calls

Not reliable

False charges

I signed up a week ago, I got charged for a full month with 3 users… I’m only by myself not sure where the 2 other users came from. It’s better to go to ring central or something similar. This looks like a scam to me at this point.

Read Receipts

It would be very helpful to have some form of Read Receipts or a notification that recipients have seen message. Otherwise this works very good. Thanks

Missed Messaging

We’ve been experiencing significant issues with the messaging system that make it unreliable for business use. The problems are inconsistent and vary by recipient:

* Some contacts can send text messages to us but cannot receive our replies.
* Others can receive our messages but are unable to send messages back.
* Some contacts are only able to exchange messages intermittently.
* There are also phone numbers that cannot be messaged at all, even after completing every recommendation provided in the Trust Center.

This has been extremely frustrating, especially since we’re relying on the platform for business communication.

We intentionally started with the Starter plan to evaluate the platform before committing to a higher-tier subscription. Unfortunately, that plan does not include direct access to customer support, leaving us limited to email-based IT support.

Before contacting IT, I worked through the entire troubleshooting guide and completed every recommended step on our end. After doing so, the documentation ultimately suggested that the issue was with the recipient’s device or carrier. Given that these problems occur across multiple contacts using different carriers and present in different ways, that explanation does not appear to account for the underlying issue.

QUO has the potential to be an excellent VoIP platform. However, in its current state, I do not feel it is reliable enough for business communication. A business phone system must be dependable, and at this point I cannot confidently trust that messages are being delivered or received as expected. I sincerely hope this issue can be resolved soon, as it has now been approximately a week since I first reported the problem.

Business phone

originally left a 5-star review, but I’m updating it to 2 stars.

The phone system itself works well, and overall I’ve been happy with the product. Unfortunately, the customer support has been extremely disappointing.

I currently manage six business phone numbers and will be expanding to 15–20 numbers as we continue opening new locations. I’ve been trying to get a toll-free number registered that will be displayed on more than 40+ fleet vehicles, but the process has dragged on with little to no communication. Support has been slow to respond, and getting updates has been incredibly frustrating.

It’s unfortunate because the product is solid, but reliable support is just as important—especially for growing businesses. I hope Quo improves its responsiveness, because that’s the only reason I can no longer recommend it as highly as I once did.

They will take your money and not provide services

Multiple year open phone customer and never had a problem. Out of the blue Quo says my subscription is not up to date even with a receipt of payment. Try to call them to rectify?? Good luck, they only offer an AI chat bot who can do nothing. Do not download and do not trust them with ported numbers!!

Getting frustrated only seeing missed calls and voice mail instead of actual calls I could’ve pick up

QUO review

Very informational and easy to navigate

Trash

Always has issues with dropping calls, or not having the calls come through to where we can actually answer it, and has issues with dropping the calls when trying to transfer it to another person. Also always has outages…

Horrible

Apple shows a valid, paid up to date subscription. I have the most recent Apple receipt showing the same. Quo says I have an expired subscription and callers are receiving an out of service message. I have sent to Quo screenshots of subscription and receipt at their request. Two days latter nothing has been fixed and they are no longer responding to my emails. STAY AWAY FROM QUO!
