Love this game. One improvement would be to make it easier to play other players online, like Crossword and Rummikub do.
Strategy Matters
Qwirkle is easily one of my favorite games. It’s simple to pick up, yet it offers such a rewarding strategic experience. Every game feels fresh and keeps my brain engaged. It’s the perfect blend of fun and challenge!

Update: See below for previous review. I had almost given up on this app because I couldn’t get any resolution. Left it on my phone and then checked periodically. It started working again. Hurrah hurrah I finally got it back Thank you.

Needs AI!!!!
This game would be beyond addicting if only they would add AI and make the game actually intelligent. When you play local, you play stupid. It’s beyond frustrating! But yet….. I still find myself drawn.
Does not work!
i’ve tried everything to get this to work. It didn’t cost very much, but I still feel ripped off. Tries to open and then closes itself before it opens all the way.

Really needs a TONE to indicate when it’s your turn when playing remotely. Really needs PUSH notifications for your turn if you are playing someone remotely on a slower pace.
Quitting games
I have a bunch of games where the player isn’t playing and I can’t get rid of them. I quit them but they’re still there. I also can’t start a new game.

Minor update?
I know this app is fairly simplistic, which I’m totally fine with because I’m just happy to be playing with friends, but there are 2 small requests that would really help. If I could rename the games that I’m in (so I know which group is which), that would be great! I’d also like to be able to permanently delete a game that is listed as pending, but I don’t see how that’s possible.

Fun, polished app!
Played the physical game first but this is better! No ads! Learning mode when playing the computer with hints helps you improve your play. Customizable with choice of backgrounds and can even change the colors of the tiles or add a pip to them shows the designers kept colorblind & visually impaired folks in mind.
