Verdict
The clearest difference is price: QwiScore at Free against Qwirkle's $2.99. QwiScore also leads on review sentiment (50% vs 36%). Qwirkle's advantage is ratings volume (1.9K vs 15) and chart position (#26 vs unranked). On rating, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

QwiScore is free to download; Qwirkle costs $2.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Qwirkle against 4.4 for QwiScore. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Qwirkle has 1.9K ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 36% of Qwirkle's written reviews are positive against 50% of QwiScore's.
Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
