Connectivity issues
It’s really cool you can use the app to control lots of fixtures. I’m on a commercial job for a big warehouse right now and we assumed we could just screw in the sensors and they’d be good to go, but we found out that we had to use an app to connect them. Let me tell you it has been difficult. I understand the circumstances of me being in a big metal building and having 200+ lights. It’s just kind of frustrating that i have to turn off sections of lights at the breaker so i can connect to a few at a time. The biggest problem i’m having right now is “updating firmware”. It seems the sensors don’t actually work with the settings you put on the app until each one of the lights has been updated on its firmware in the app. It’s been incredibly slow costing hours on the job. At one point i was falling asleep because it was taking too long for a section (20 lights) to all update. It took an hour for one section! I wish there was better support for connecting, like maybe have some limiter on the app so i don’t have to turn off whole sections just for one section. The instructions could always be clearer, maybe have someone in the electrical field actually test, experience, and report for better information on what to provide in the instructions.

Needs Face ID
Has to be the only app on earth that you can’t use Face ID to log in. Dumb.

I have used several competing products and RAB has by far the largest variety of fixtures with integrated controls, great price point, and a very robust app. There is a learning curve on the app but this system is the best I’ve used.
