Don’t waste your time
Downloaded this app to track a friend at the Plymouth Half Marathon today - the app crashed continually, and I’ve just seen my friend at mile 10 and the app hasn’t even acknowledged that she’s crossed the start line. This app needs a lot of work.
Can’t register
Booked myself onto a Race Nation race, downloaded the app but it won’t let me register - says Invalid Registration

Used the app to find and enter the race. Quick and simple to use.

Used this app to register myself on race day so I didn’t have to queue at the reg desk.

Needs a lot of work
I downloaded this app to track a relative in a race. It was a total waste of time; the app never remembered the race I put as a favourite and the option to select the participant to follow was always disabled. At the event, the app kept generating error messages. The concept is great but, as things stand, the reality of it falls significantly short. App has now been deleted.

Doesn’t work
I’ve never written a review before but the app fundamentally doesn’t work. It doesn’t let you log in or even search for an event, it just gives an alert saying it is unable to carry out the request. It’s very frustrating

Installed the app to track my family during the Plymouth Half Marathon. It found the event once, failed to load the details and then stopped working and couldn’t find any event at all. Don’t waste your time on such a terrible app.
Rubbish app
Wanted to track relative running in local marathon. Configured settings the day before to follow and track. As soon as race started I was unable to find and search race in my favourites. Error message: Unable to carry out request. Try again later

This app does not allow registration and it doesn’t tell you why. App developers should really test their apps to see how real users use it. Clearly, this has not been done by the developers of this app.
Doesn’t like passwords
Won’t accept my new password . It said it needs to be 8 long , with a mix of letters, numbers and others . It was. It still didn’t like it . Delete .

Trying to track family on the app but couldn’t even search for location without Alert error!!! Happened on several of our devices.

Easy to down load the App but impossible to create account. No guidance on special characters to be included in password and trial and error with all characters didn’t work.

How to set a password
I’ve read comments about being unable to create an account. I discovered it works if you go the website first, create an account via that route - they send a password reset link which allows you to create a new password that complies with their requirements. Once you’ve done that on the website you can then access your account in the app. Understandable that people are frustrated when this isn’t at all clear!

Didn’t work
Downloaded the app to check a friend’s race progress, but couldn’t ever find the race.
Can’t create an account, no idea why
Downloaded as recommended when signing up for a race. Opened it, tried to create an account. Just get an invalid Registration error message. No idea why or help on how to make it valid. Given up, hope it’s not vital to my race!
Needs some love
It’s not clear why I needed this app but downloaded it as advised on my race entry. Difficulty entering a password: I’m guessing it was the compulsory “special character”; included a special character which I’ve used elsewhere, but it rejected password, no explanation. Eventually happened upon one random character it did accept.
Then, navigation awful; design a bit disconcerting. Perseverance eventually brought out some event data but, given the trouble I had, will I bother to use the app again? It lacked charm and zing!
