???

Genuinely confused with how bad this happens is. I can get over janky things like the voice prompts sounding a computer program from the year 1999. I was irritated that after I set up my plan and had a start date as that day (a Sunday) it did not adjust anything based on that information. It’s still counted that whole first week. I didn’t even have my app yet as “week one “and also since the Sunday was programmed to be a rest day, I also didn’t have an exercise program that day either so on my very first week, it actually called a week two behind so I had to create a new program. It was also confusing since after I had created my program and I didn’t realize that the Sunday was a rest day and I look at my newly created program. Nothing was there. I didn’t say anything like “today’s a rest day” there’s no communication why I didn’t have anything programmed that day and I had to look to look up why I wasn’t seeing anything. Finally after visiting my program so I can actually see an exercise that day and so that I wasn’t a week behind according to the app I finally went for my first run, which was an interval run, so I was trying to be mindful of my speed targets for the run time, because I thought that was the whole point, but then I am disappointed to have finished my run and wanna see how I did on each of the running segments and instead of actually telling me my speed for each of the parts of the interval it just averaged everything else including my walk times in between the interval like what good is that data to me?? let me the one metric that was prescribed to me. I can’t see after the fact how I did. Really seems like this was not fully thought through and I probably won’t stay. It’s not very user-friendly or even useful if the only metric I see after a run is average pace. Like isn’t that the whole point that I follow along to the audio prompt when it tells me to switch it intervals to switch paces? Annoyed

Response from developer

Hi there, Thank you for your feedback. We would like to clarify a couple of points regarding your training data and plan: 1. Interval splits and segment data: The main summary screen displays your overall session average, but your detailed split breakdown is available inside your run. Open your completed run and check the Charts and Stats tabs to see your pace graphs, individual splits, and segment paces. 2. Rest days and schedule: You can view your full weekly schedule, scheduled runs, and rest days anytime by tapping the Plan tab. If a session is scheduled for today, it appears on Home screen and you receive a reminder notification. If today is a rest day, no workout is queued. 3. Audio prompts: We are continuously updating our audio coaching and pacing cues to make voice prompts clearer and more natural in our upcoming app updates. We would love the chance to help you get the most out of your training. Please reach out to our support team directly in the app settings or via help@urunn.com so we can guide you through your plan. Best regards, The URUNN Team

Great for personalised plans

I’m a beginner in the running space and have been wanting to get into regular 5K runs for a while, and URUNN has helped me do that! It creates a really personalised plan, then lets me modify it if life gets in the way, whilst still keeping me on track. It can even analyse my runs after I’ve done them

Terrible

Downloaded the app to try and get back into running.

Then I thought why would I want an app for that.

Went to delete the account yet needed to contact support to do so……

Response from developer

Disappointed

I was happy that I could set it to beginner but the runs it sets for you are definitely not beginner. Not user friendly when trying to set the kind of run for me to at least try doing, not that I was able to follow along on any of them. Might be good if you are intermediate or advanced runner but not recommended for anyone starting out.

Response from developer

Hi Kizzmet21, Thank you for sharing your honest feedback. We are truly sorry to hear that your initial workouts felt too demanding, as this certainly is not the experience we aim to deliver. URUNN is designed specifically to support runners of every level, from absolute beginners taking their very first steps with gentle run-walk intervals to advanced marathoners. Our training plans adapt based on the baseline pace and distance entered during onboarding, and it sounds like there may have been a calibration mismatch with your initial plan settings that made the sessions feel overwhelming. We would love the opportunity to make this right for you. Please reach out to us directly at help@urunn.com with your account email. Our coaching team will personally review your profile, fine-tune your parameters, and rebuild a plan that truly matches where you are starting today so you can progress comfortably and injury-free. We hope to hear from you and earn back your trust. Warm regards, The URUNN Team

I’m back in love with running

I’ve always been quite on and off with running, which meant I wasn’t seeing progression and became a bit disengaged.

But I’ve now been training with URUNN for 3 months and it’s the most consistent I’ve ever been!

Having a plan I can actually stick to around a hectic life has changed the game for me - and I love seeing everyone else using URUNN smash it.
