If bugs could talk..
Radacat is a beautiful piece of hardware, made near unusable by an atrocious application. It looks aesthetically good, but the bugs and usability destroy it.
Pairing - it just pairs a random device it sees. Ie. setting up two devices, it decided to pair with a third one that was far away in the next room. Why oh why not ask the user ??
Adding contacts forces you to use a qr code scan, but the scan fails 99% of the time. It took about 30 attempts on two devices to scan one contact. All it would take is a manual option to make it better. Same exact issue for creating groups and adding contact to group. Speaking of which - when I see a message in public chat, why not let me add that person as contact ?
Features are obscure - a "relay message" is mentioned once in the manual as a matter of fact, it even showed up as an option once in my app - could not find it since.
Description is misleading - C1 is actually supported and works in the app. Why not update the description ?
Searching for contacts around you - another gamble, works one out of 15 attempts with same exact location of devices (in close comfortable range)
Meshing - does it actually do that ? Not clear according to poor documentation if meshing is automatic, or requires that special but missing "relay message" option.
Guys, if you bother reading this - please fix this app, it is a shame to waste the potential of your devices.
