Shocking

Turns out you buy the app for £9.99 then to get one code for a v series Model ford stereo turns out you have to pay a further £9.99 for a single code which I ended up getting of eBay for £0.99 and worked straight away I didn’t even get a code of the app either shocking isn’t the word will be fighting for a full refund.

Response from developer

App have no limit calculations. And much more than V series. Lot of Fiat options, etc. Is not correct When concurence set really bad review and in same time sell codes on website UK.

RIP off

9.99 for the app then 9.99 for each code it doesn’t say that when you buy it

SCAM!!! CON MAKES YOU PAY FOR CODES AGAIN

Absolutely rubbish, paid £9.99 and it doesn’t even work. Also it makes you pay a further 9.99 every time you want to find a radio code.

Pathetic. DO NOT BUY!!!!
I would like a refund.

FAQ

What does the Radio Decoder app do?

The app functions as a calculator to generate unlock codes for factory-fitted car radio and navigation systems. It supports a wide range of vehicle brands and models, simplifying the process of regaining access to your car's entertainment and navigation features.

How do I use the app to get a code?

To generate a code, you need to accurately input two numbers: the Serial Number and Part Number, which are typically found on a sticker on the radio or navigation unit. The app also features a barcode scanner to help bypass potential input errors.

What car brands and models are supported?

The app supports numerous brands including Becker, Fiat (Blaupunkt, Continental, Daiichi), Ford (M-Series, V-Series, Navigations EX, FX, NX), Nissan (Blaupunkt Micra), Opel (Blaupunkt), Renault (VDO, Continental), and Citroen Peugeot (Continental). Specific radio and navigation series are detailed within the app's description.

Is the app free to use?

The app is free to download and use for certain radio and navigation models. However, unlocking codes for some specific series, such as Visteon series V, Z, Sony series V, Z radios, and certain Blaupunkt navigation subversions, requires a payment within the app (in-app purchase).

What are the common use cases for this app?

The primary use case is to generate unlock codes when a car radio or navigation system has been disconnected from power and requires a code to be re-activated. This is common after battery replacement or other electrical work on the vehicle.
