User interface needs polish

The application is functional and controls the Rallie Pickleball machine well. However, the interface has mis-spelled words on buttons. Text that overflows so you can’t read what is actually on the control. e.g., on an iPhone 15 Pro, text for the drive/drop button cannot be read. When going into Elite mode, the instructions can’t even be read because they are truncated. In elite mode, text for adjustments appear in the middle of a toggle control. However they will get truncated or only show an ellipsis if the text doesn’t fit making for a frustrating experience. The text for the speed once it’s over 100 can’t be read. The Interval(s) text also can’t be read as it only shows …

I’m uncertain what unit of measure the speed is in. I’m guessing it’s km/h. But the max setting of 140 would then translate to 87 mph - which it definitely can’t deliver. App needs a settings page to translate to desired unit - mph or km/h.

The app requires that you are connected to the unit to do anything. This is not desirable when you want to program elite mode for drills you think you want to do when away from the machine. Elite mode is also very limited as it only has 6 “zones” where the ball can be delivered. You can make adjustments to each zone which is very nice. But Elite mode should start you with the same zones as custom mode does so you don’t have to fine tune as much - and then allow you to tweak from there.

Also, a counter feature would be very nice. Ie, during my drill session, I’d like to know how many balls have I hit per drill and total for the session. iWatch integration also for basic stop/start control would also be a very welcome feature.

The battery indicator is not accurate. It doesn’t give you numeric percentage. Instead, levels are shown where you’ll have a green bar that looks like you should have 20% left, and then it’s dead.

The app is functional, but needs more polish to make it great.
