Ramblings uses a simple walkie-talkie style flow. Talk naturally, then say "Over" when you want the AI to process what you said. Say "Break" to pause. Say "Done" to finish the session. You decide when a thought is ready, instead of waiting for silence detection to guess.
You choose where your thoughts go. Ramblings gives you three processing modes, so you decide the tradeoff between privacy and power:
-On-Device (Private) runs everything on your iPhone — your voice notes are processed by Apple Intelligence and stored only on your device, with nothing sent to our servers. It's slower and less capable than Cloud, and your notes aren't synced or backed up, but nothing ever leaves your phone. Requires an iPhone 15 Pro or newer on iOS 26 with Apple Intelligence enabled.
-Hybrid keeps your notes stored on your iPhone while sending each rambling for AI processing, then discarding it — full cloud quality with local storage.
-Cloud (the default) processes and stores your notes on our servers, synced and backed up across your devices.
