A chance to improve

Our district is required to use this app. So Rank One here’s your chance to improve your app! Communication is essential for players and coaches but right now it’s super unfunctional we need push notifications in time with an ability to add calendar ability. Look at TeamSnap, band, player space, game changer for inspiration. We are required to use you so creators get creative!

Cannot turn off email notifications

Our school district is new to this platform. Parent accounts are not given the ability to control notification settings. So for every message or event created by a coach or team member, parents receive an email. The email has zero information, only informs that one needs to check the app. With push notifications on, I do not need an email. With a team that has a lot of chatter, it’s easy to have my inbox full of emails (with no substance) telling me to check the app to see messages I was already alerted to via push notifications. I am disappointed we are not given options on how we’d like to receive communication.

How can an app in 2026 be so bad

Our school district just switched to Rank One. I understand the desire to streamline and curtail communication between coaches and players to one platform, but this app has been a big disappointment. No web-based access to your account - only through the app which would be fine if the app was good. No text notifications - only email, features are clunky and seems at least a decade behind user experience functionality. Kudos to their sales team for selling such a poor product to our district, but from a parent perspective, there has to be better alternatives out there.

Sucks

The app says it needs an update now I can’t login

No Body Uses It

No Body Uses it because it’s not helpful. It’s overly complicated and time consuming.

Won’t update

When I open the app, it says to go to the App Store and update to the latest version. When I go to the App Store to do that, there is no update. It just opens the app and then I get the same message. I can’t use it until it allows me to update. Help!

UX is terrible

Like really bad - they need to hire a UX person to fix it. Total mess - just really really bad.

Horrible

This app is horrible can’t submit forms once you fill them out ! So frustrating

Forms, Scheduling, Messaging, & more

The app works well. I can complete forms on behalf of my students easily. It’s very straightforward. I can see student schedules/events, and even communicate with users inside of my district through the messaging functionality.

Easy to use!

The app is easy to use and has been great for getting updates regarding my student’s sports schedules!

Account deletion BROKEN

What a garbage app when you go through to delete account only to be met by an application error. I am so tired of garbage releases of apps having zero quality assurance testing.

Review

This app is very helpful to see schedule and upload forms

It doesn’t work

Good app

Easy to use

Poor app

My daughter needs forms filled out for school through this app. However, when you go to add a student it ask you to select the state, but there is no drop-down with states that you can select.

Needs work

I understand apps are always under development but filling out required information is a nightmare. Links open up in pdf and it’s difficult to add signatures and required information. Some links that open up are hard to fill in. A user should be able to fill in forms on the fly and not have to worry about downloading copies until everything is completed. Not very user friendly.

Not impressed!

Not impressed! It's hard to navigate and use effectively. There are many layers to find relevant information, especially if the child participates in more than one sport.

Awful app

I find this app useless. My kids schedule is never on here. It’s not user friendly. Overall a useless waste of time.

Poor Quality App

They have you upload all kinds of private documents. They either approve or reject them. If they reject a form there is no explanation as to why. I highly suggest that other schools pic a more user friendly app.

Irritable RiverRat parent

We do the same paperwork to turn into the coaching staff to which they return it to be entered into this. They can just keep it on file and save everyone the trouble of dealing with this .
