Frustrating
I like reading the news at Rappler but the ads are so distracting that it gets frustrating.
Notifications, web wrapper
It would be best if articles, when loaded, don’t behave and look as if it’s in a in-app web browser wrapper. And please, allow us to toggle which kinds of notifications we want to receive (e.g. just the breaking news, maybe politics as well, and disable those from features, sports, etc.)

Could have been a good news app if not for the ads that eat up the entire screen, while reading contents get pushed down to make space for more ads, and as you scroll down, ads block your view, leaving behind a pathetic small space to see the text.

UI is not very user friendly, and there are tons of ads even with a paid subscription which is outrageous. cancelling
Lags and no dark mode
App takes a while to respond and it would really help light sensitive users if you’ll add a dark mode.

News reporting is not balanced.

Links to articles don’t load or stuck in advertising. Constantly asking to sign in. The site/app makes reading unenjoyable so it makes me reluctant to have to pay if the site is badly managed
