Been on waiting list for 2 YEARS dispite having a big public presence. WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.
2 year wait and a huge flop
Was waitlisted for TWO YEARS. Had to email them to see why this was even an issue as I have a great job, a solid social presence and attractive. Once I get in the filtering is non existent, you pay a premium just to use the service and it doesn’t even show you a persons height. Most people want to network. Lots of people that don’t live in your city and LIMITED pools to sift through that are refreshed daily probably cause the pool is tiny. A total scam. At least you have a benefit to paying for Grindr and hinge is actually solid at finding suitable people. Raya is an absolute scam.

I’ve been on the waitlist since November 2024. Heard this app was better than others and it’s more intentional however after almost 2 years and still waitlisted I’m going to no longer wait… it’s just an app taking up space on my phone
Handsome men, but
I’ve been using Raya for a while now, and I have to say, the men are undeniably handsome—definitely a step above the quality you see on Hinge or Bumble. That said, the app is missing some crucial fields—no mandatory info on height, relationship goals, kids, or any preferences. Without that, you end up spending a lot of time just trying to figure out basic compatibility. And on top of that, if you want to message anyone, you have to shell out an insane $70 a month, which I think is way too steep. Overall, great potential, but it needs much more structure and value for that price.

Terrible
I’m based in the UK, I’d say over 75% of the people who Raya recommended were oversees, mostly America. It’s expensive for what it is, I paid for one month then cancelled. Definitely not worth the wait to be approved or the money it costs.
