Shockingly awful app
1) you get different options from the app depending upon which mobile phone you use; an iPad gives another set of options.. 2) when you enter the location/ country (New Zealand), you can select it but not return to the main menu. You have to select ‘Standard’. 3) if you have a software problem, or loads of them as it happens, in order to rectify them you need a passcode; this has to come via the helpdesk and two issues then arise: 3a) on my iPhone I cannot submit a query or request for assistance 3b) I managed it eventually on my iPad. Once. I couldn’t send a further request. 3c) 47 hours later and still not a squeak out of Rayvolt. So I’m left with a $9000 electric bike, stuck in the garage which won’t go due to software issues which can’t be resolved until Rayvolt finally get around to replying to my request for help.. This is my second Rayvolt Cruzer and this app was terrible first time around, my last Cruzer was about four years ago. I thought they might have resolved the issues by now, hence buying another Cruzer, but if anything the problems have got even worse. Great bike but VERY disappointing in terms of support from Rayvolt (the dealer was brilliant though) and a substandard app.

Apple + EIVA
Bei meiner Frau war die App (iPhone 11) super gut zu starten und verband sich zunächst ohne Problem mit dem Rad (dafür: 1 Punkt).
Meine EIVA App Instalation (iPhone 14) endete damit, dass ich Europa als Standort zwar finden konnte, es jedoch nicht zu bestätigen war (trotz Minimierung der Schrift, diverser Neustarts, Löschung / erneutes aufspielen und Abgleich mit den Einstellungen meiner Frau)
Nun hab ich das Handy meiner Frau genommen und das Fahrrad damit eingestellt…. Schön wär nur, wenn ich mein Handy dauerhaft als Begleitung für den Cruzer nutzen könnte, was aber nicht geht.
Das ist zudem blöd, da die Akkuanzeige des MiniEIVAs zwar meine Akku anzeigt, diese Anzeige aber unverändert gleich bleibt…
PS: Meine Frau wollte im Anschluss die App erneut nutzen, was jedoch nicht möglich war, da sie (angeblich) über kein Internet verfügte (4 Balken LTE wurde angezeigt)…
Sehr enttäuschend, dass bei solch einem tollen Cruzer die individuelle Steuerung des Bikes nicht genutzt werden kann, da diese kleine App (eigentlich) nicht zu gebrauchen ist…
Bitte umgehend um Nachrüstung….

Pas sérieux
Application affreuse, ne contrôle pas le vélo, impossible de faire fonctionner l’assistance au pédalage et cela depuis des mois ,Rayvolt est une marque à fuir absolument

Malgré la dernière mise à jour, l’application ne fonctionne TOUJOURS pas sur mon iPhone ! Et le service client n’a pas su non plus régler ce problème ! C’est à la portée du premier informaticien sorti d’école de configurer correctement une application ! TRÈS gros point faible chez Rayvolt. Il va falloir attendre encore combien de temps pour que je puisse utiliser mon vélo correctement ?? Ça fait plus d’un an que j’attends déjà et c’est tjr pas réglé !

Leider voller Fehler und nicht zu gebrauchen
Ich hatte große Hoffnung das die App nach viele Updates endlich zu gebrauchen ist.
Leider ist dem nicht so.
Wenn ich das Display im Querformat nutze überlagern sich die Anzeigen bei meinem IPhone 14 Pro Max. Bei meinem Samsung Galaxy ist das Problem nicht vorhanden. Die Modi eco cruse und Sport sind quasi nicht zu gebrauchen da diese immer viel zu stark unterstützt.
So ist man dich gezwungen das EIVA Mini am Fahrrad zu nutzen. Leider ist hier die Akkuanzeige nicht korrekt da dies eigentlich nicht für das Rayvolt Cruiser gedacht ist. Ich finde aber als Akkuanzeige die drei Lampen am Fahrrad einfach zu ungenau.
Bitte liebes Rayvolt Team bekommt die App endlich in den Griff damit diese richtig funktioniert.

Also ich habe den Cruzer jetzt seit 10Tagen, an und für soch schon ein geiles Teil. Leider ist die App relativ unnutzbar. Ein update wäre toll.

Runs the bike great! Lots of different settings. The four basic settings don’t seem to be enough and it’s unclear how each is set up. For power users who know how to tweak all the details to dial in their ride, these are probably great features. I would like this to be more like a digital camera. If you know what you’re doing you can have all the little components to adjust. For the daily rider, it would be nice to have pre-programmed settings like high speed w/no pedal or Battery saving/high pedal, etc. like a camera has Portrait, Panorama, Video, and all the settings are automatic. Or even if the guide came with a “wiring guide” for optimizing certain settings.

Also dass Fahrrad selber ist der Hammer, aber diese App hier ist ein wenig chaotisch. Ständig stürzt die App ab, sobald sie mit dem Fahrrad connectet ist - nachdem ich Einstellungen vorgenommen habe und zurück zum Hauptbildschirm gehe 🤷🏻♂️ und dann hilft es auch nichts, wenn ich die App schließe und wieder neustarte. Ich muss also erst die App starten und dann das Fahrrad einschalten, dann kann ich Einstellungen vornehmen, darf aber nicht wieder zurück zum Hauptbildschirm 🤦🏻♂️
Da der, für dieses Fahrrad unfassbar hässliche Bordcomputer „schlappe“ 250,-€ kostet, fand ich die App wirklich eine tolle Alternative dafür. Doch die fragwürdigen Softwaremängel dieser App sind wirklich eklatant. Vorallem, weil sich ausschließlich mit dieser App (oder dem unfassbar hässlichen Bordcomputer) das Fahrrad wirklich individuell einstellen lässt. Ohne diese App (oder dem unfassbar hässlichen Bordcomputer) hat man lediglich Werkseinstellungen, die zwar OK sind, aber eben nicht individuell und Individualität ist ja der Grund, warum man sich einen Rayvolt Cruzer kauft.

Impossible to connect with an IPhone SE 2020, the screen simply doesn’t let you set up your location because you it’s not big enough and you can’t scroll through that menu.

Mise à jour pas correct
La mise à jour est très mauvaise J’ai des soucis avec mon vélo de 1000w qui ne peut monter une cote et lorsque je clique sur la mise en route de l accélérateur manuel le vélo devient incontrôlable il accélère comme un fou et va à 50 km/h
Dommage que nous avons plus la possibilité de choisir nous même de passer le vélo en full où en Europe lorsque nous somme sur la route car le vélo est trop bridé un vélo de 500w ne peut monter une petite cote lorsqu’il a pas de dérailleur
