RBMK Lab: Nuclear Power Plant

Take the night shift at an RBMK-style nuclear power plant. The dispatcher calls for load. You work the control rods, feedwater, bypass and pumps to deliver it, and keep the unit from tripping. Lose a circulation pump and watch steam voids push the power up. Feed the drums by hand when the controllers fail. Resynchronise the turbine after a grid fault. Lift the cover and hold AZ-5 when it goes wrong. THE CONTROL ROOM • A glowing reactor lid: 1,872 channel caps that follow power and rod position • Needle meters, an annunciator wall, faders with tactile detents and AZ-5 under a flip cover • Synthesised plant sound: pump hum, turbine whine, alarm chimes and the trip klaxon SHIFTS • Six career shifts, from your first night to "The long night" • A new daily shift every day, with the same orders and incident for every operator • Stars, personal bests and operator ranks from Trainee to Chief engineer • A shift log after every shift: your load trace, your closest call, and exactly why the unit tripped LEARN WHY IT REACTS • Guided training drills with predictions and causal debriefs • A sandbox with more than a dozen faults to inject • Reference notes on every signal Offline. No account, no ads, no tracking. One optional lifetime Pro unlock adds the advanced shifts and drills. RBMK Lab is a simplified, teaching-scale model of an RBMK-style plant. It is a game and a learning tool, not operator training or engineering guidance. RBMK is the reactor type used at Chernobyl. RBMK Lab does not recreate the 1986 accident.
