Love it!

This is the best app ever! I recommend this for intermediate learners because I am one myself and have learned a lot from them. Its great because there are no ads, and no purchases either. You should make a second app, too!

Read Chinese

I really like this app. I’m a beginner in learning the Chinese language and if there is another app that is better in learning characters I don’t want to know about it. I watch Chinese movies and series and I find myself noticing and reading the characters. I am very happy with myself and this app on learning because it has only been three months. I will return to my review in about another three months to report my progress.

Works I guess

I can speak Chinese so this is good for character recognization. Only problem is that I know the easy characters and having to go through the deck of them to unlock latter characters is REALLY TEDIOUS. (You have to do them over and over and OVER) I think a diagnostic test would be nice, like you take the test and it automatically recognizes you as proficient in the characters you knew and unlocks the ones you need to learn.
Here’s a suggestion that would be cool but isn’t actually necessary: the ability to “Star” or mark cards, and then be able to study these “starred” cards separately.

This is amazing!!

I have been searching for an app like this for ages! Really like the levels and the approach. Simple to use and no fuss.
My only feedback would be that for characters which are the same but have different meanings based on tone, it would really help for understanding that rather than the definitions all being on one line and separated by slashes that each tone definition is separated onto its own line...if that makes sense. The layout now makes it unclear where the definition for each tone ends and the next definitions begin. Otherwise thank you so much for this app. And I hope my feedback is reasonable

Amazing app!

This app was exactly what I was looking for!! I speak Chinese so I wanted an app that only focused on reading and this was it! The app isn’t laggy, everything looks organized and clean, and the teaching style is effective and easy to follow. Plus, I love how it’s free. The only tiny issue I found was that the audio only works when my iPhone is not on silent :/. Other that that I love this app! Thanks!
