My 8 year old was struggling to read we were using books then tried another app. But when we found ello after a few times she was reading. And she has improved tremendously. I tell everybody I meet about this app when they have little kids!
Dyslexic reading success
My son wasn’t reading at all by at the end of his 1st grade year. When I pulled him out of public school I started using Ello to help me teach him to read. We have just finished his 2nd grade year and he’s almost at his current grade level!! Ello’s “grade levels” are a little advance and I think he’s only at a 1st grade level in the app but he’s a reading level 2 (second grade) for all other books, including the “I can read!” book series. He and all his sibling love the app, it’s engaging and rewarding and overall everyone’s favorite part of our homeschool day. I started out with a free trial and knew by the end of the first week that we would pay for the subscription.

Amazing app
My daughter has been using ello for the past month and has improved her reading skills drastically . She is now attempting to read labels at the store and anything she comes across . My nephew is also using it and he loves it . Our family loves this app and will continue using it.
Recommend to everyone
We love Ello! Ava is reading so well. The way the books grow with her reading ability is great. My only complaint is that they don’t have enough girl clothes for Eli. Ava only wants to put girl clothes on her.
