Can’t complete online purchases
Since the last upgrade you have to add your postcode. Once I enter the details I am unable to proceed to payment. Looks like I’m going to have to either go to Hoyt’s or take my chances.
Can’t get out of number pop up
The app need fix. Asking for phone number but the number pop up window won’t closed

This such a woefully-performing app. With a gift card in the system, it won’t allow you to apply it to the booking. You must exit the booking function, copy the number of the gift card then re-start the booking process from the beginning and enter the number manually.
Even then it appears there’s a missing step, as it failed to apply the gift card amount before requiring credit card details.
Why is it so difficult to integrate the functionality within the app?
My next gripe is why do they charge us extra to book using their booking system? Surely it’s less expensive than paying a staff member at the cinema.

slow loads
very slow loading takes like 20 minutes to load seat bookings then when you go out of it it takes you back to the current day not to the day you're trying to book so that's another 20 minutes
FIX BUG!
IF A PHONE NUMBER IS REQUIRED FOR TICKET PURCHASE, PLEASE MAKE IT POSSIBLE TO ADD A NUMBER ON AN APPLE PHONE, AND CONTINUE WITH THE PAYMENT.
There is currently no way to add the number and continue with the payment because you can’t drop the keypad down or click anything around the screen to progress away from the number entry.
There is no point using this app to get tickets if I can’t pay for them on iOS.
(Maybe it would work if I created an account on the website, but I shouldn’t have to create an account for everything; and would defeat the purpose of an app)

Poor UE
Clunky app, unable to join membership wise, freezes on purchases and too slow…
Zero stars
This app is really poor, password reset emails take forever, if they come at all. Issues accessing cart. Cringe each time I use it knowing there will be problems. Surely you could have fixed some of these issues by now.
Wrong function app
Does not work as intended. Tried to sign in, forget password, all of it to log in - no or poor response. Even when I was able to sign in, I could not upgrade to the boost rewards and took me to no screen, instead just load screen flashed to no eventuation. Worst business app I’ve ever used.
Glitchy app
Tried 6 times to register as a member but every single time there was an unknown error. No tech support. Staff at the cinema were not interested in helping. frustrating.
Not possible to filter by gander
As a parent you open the app and you want to see what movies are available for kids. Turns out there is no way but checking every single movie one by one. There should be. Filter at least.
Flimsy app that’s just the same experience as navigating their website
Apple Pay doesn’t work when booking tickets but it’ll let you check out with Apple Pay if you’re purchasing their paid membership tier. The add to Apple wallet feature is also broken and keeps coming back with errors that safari can’t download it. This happens on browser experience too.
Worst app ever
This is the worst app ever created. For a movie cinema of high standards Reading needs to pay urgent attention to fix this app. Booking and paying is one massive effort and headache. With every upgrade it gets worse.
alternative theatres are better
if you’re in the perth area visit luna palace for arthouse/indie films or hoyt’s for mainstream stuff and a more premium experience. only and i mean ONLY go to reading for a cheap hangout with friends once in a while.
membership is not worth it at all; just buy a hoyt’s or luna one. the theatre i visit has decent film quality and sound but the seats are loud, uncomfortable and sticky. its also way dirtier compared to every theatre i go to. selection for films is also usually lacking compared to the alternatives i mentioned, which is why i recommend hoyt’s. usually many no brainer popular movies are just never showing.
the app is okay if not a bit clunky. not being able to add ur tickets to ur apple wallet (like how hoyt’s does) is kinda annoying but it’s not a ginormous deal. ui is usable but the constant loading screens get on my nerves. ok app for decent to bad theatres, visit hoyt’s and luna instead please !!

Apple Pay hasn’t been working for ages. Transactions fail. Be nice if it was set up correctly.
Absolute rubbish
Can’t put phone number in because the keypad won’t go away. So can’t buy a ticket. Because the seat was selected before this it can’t be selected again. So i go to the account page where I just happen to stumble on my email and phone number settings but it requires my date of birth yet won’t allow me to enter it!?!?!!!

I can’t buy ticket!
I try to buy ticket. Gold class Asks for phone number. Cannot remove number pad off screen to continue booking. So I go to account to put phone number in there. That worked. But now wants my birth date and won’t let me enter birthdate. This prevents me from updating details which makes it unable to register my phone number. Which brings me round to same original problem. Bug fixes please. Thankyou. Other than that app ok.

Pragmatic app
So great to see Aussie companies getting out web based apps that aren’t too fancy but get the job done well. A bit of loading here and there, but really good to have the Apple wallet for rewards members and movie tickets. Bravo
Bug ridden app and web site
It’s impossible to use this app or website. Login becomes a nightmare, it freezes links and won’t work properly. Don’t even bother trying to use it
